Apartment is part of a building built in 1882 which is declared as cultural heritage of Ljubljana. It is located in a quiet part of the center, few steps to Ljubljanica river. One of it's rooms shares view to the hill Golovec. Apartment is 2.1km away from main bus station and railway station and 34km away from the airport of Ljubljana. Apartment has free WIFI. <BR>Rooms in apartment are separated with thick walls aprox. 60cm thick. Living room has LCD TV with flat screen, DVD player… Apartment is a very bright place with carefuly selected design with a touch of european antique, oriental carpets and furniture of a modern stile. Apartment has seperated kitchen with a dining table. Within the ring there are elementary school, secondary schools, high schools, academy, faculties, parks, recreation centres, walking/running path Golovec and the Ljubljana Castle. Ljubljanica river offers cruises along the old city centre. Two stores Mercator and Hofer (Aldi) are just across the street.

Clean and Convenient
Stayed whilst visiting Ljubljana city for a couple of nights. Ervin was super helpful and is quick to respond on whatsapp. He was there to meet us when we arrived and to explain things - and when I forgot I asked again on whatsapp and got a quick response. I have mixed views on the apartment itself, but overall I would recommend. No issues with cleanliness. Because of the age of the building I guess, the proportions are a bit off. Small kitchen (but with everything you need) and really odd bathroom. The shower itself is great and powerful - top marks - but there is nowhere to hang any towels or clothing. The exterior door doesn't lock and I don't understand why there are two toilets in there with one of them in the shower. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows terrible - thin and lumpy. The fans in the bedrooms are appreciated as is the fantastic air con in the living room. The back double bedroom is so hot one fan is not enough really. The other back double smells horrible and musty - I suspect its because the original wallpaper has been kept and that's what is smelling. Plants are in the way of parking space - they look nice but they are a pain - however I did appreciate having a place to park. When you're in the living room there is a lot of noise from mango (which is a fabulous cafe/bar - we loved the food). You can hear other residents - I was in the single room and I think they were doing their washing at 6am. Curtains don't cover the windows in single room because of fancy swag. Wifi is great. Sofa in living room is super hard. Supermarkets two minutes walk and its only 15 minutes walk into the centre or to the castle. I think this is best for a family - I would have found it hard sharing with friends with only one toilet available (yes there are two but in the same room, and I'm not using the loo in conjunction with someone else!)

Great stay in Ljublijana
Ervin was a good host while we made the apartment our home for a little bit more than a week. Conveniently located with two supermarkets across the road, great restaurant/pub next door. Within walking distance from old down-town. Well furnished and well equipped for a comfortable stay.
