About the neighborhood
The house is within 15 minutes walking distance of 4 lovely pubs, an Indian restaurant, village shop, postoffice and pharmacy. The house leads onto a path that backs onto a park with playground and is a good starting place for some lovely country walks. It is also only few minutes to get to Chobham Common, the largest National Nature Reserve in the south-east of England and one of the finest remaining examples of lowland heath in the world, a globally rare and threatened habitat due to rare soil type. The towns of Sunningdale (7 mins), Ascot (13 mins), Windsor (24 mins) and Guilford (30 mins) are also nearby with a range of lovely cafes, restaurants and shops.
Getting around
There is a bus service in the village, however a car is required to take advantage of the surrounding countryside and towns. Access to London is also easy from the train stations in either Sunningdale (3.2 miles) or Woking (7.5 miles) provide easy access to London with a fast service from Woking getting you into London Waterloo in 23 minutes.
