Charismatic Cottage in a lovely pastoral setting. The balcony was a treat with a sea view and horses grazing close by. Fantastic modern bathroom with heated flooring. Comfy big bed and lounge with good TV. Well equipped kitchen. We had mixed weather (in March) but being in this cottage meant our spirits weren’t dampened. The location is excellent for coastal walking. You can pick up the SWCP at Portowan (2m away) and walk west toward Portreath /Hayle or east towards St. Agnes Head/ Perranporth. The location is also great for days out in both north and south Cornwall. St.Ives and Falmouth are both accessible in just half an hour by car.

Had a wonderful two week stay at this fantastic cottage. Close to everywhere we wanted to visit and the accommodation was flawless. Matt and Tamsin were great hosts and were there only if you needed them. Would definitely look to book this place again, a real bolt hole and home from home.

Just left ivy chimney cottage today . What a beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. We spent 2 weeks there . The upstairs balcony was lovely and fantastic sunsets . The cottage was very comfortable and provided everything we needed . Shower was amazing . Really enjoyed the garden views and watching the horses, chickens and rabbits from the kitchen table . Tamsyn and mike the owners are very friendly . We cycled regularly straight from the house onto the coast to coast path . We joined it at Rhoddas factory will definitely return soon . Thank you

Very central for Truro and further west to Redruth and St Ives. Very comfortable cottage, has everything you need. Large comfy bed and great shower. Will be booking again.

Great place to stay, peaceful but well placed for all local resorts being just off the A30 and somewhere my wife and I will return to as we were looking for a new place to stay because we used another location for 10 years which is no longer available.The cottage is fitted out to a very high standard and has all you need for a great holiday, with a lovely owner next door who was very helpful.

Ruhig gelegenes hübsches Cottage. Modern eingerichtet, gut möbliert und vollständig ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Besitzer wohnen am selben Grundstück - wir haben Sie aber kaum wahrgenommen, da sie extrem unaufdringlich sind. Meistens hatten wir den Eindruck alleine auf dem Grundstück zu wohnen. Als Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge zu den Highlights in Cornwall perfekt geeignet. Leider sind Restaurants, Pubs und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur mit einem Fahrzeug erreichbar. Noch ist alles neu - wir hoffen es gelingt den Besitzern diesen Zustand möglichst lange aufrecht zu erhalten.

Just back from an absolutely perfect weeks stay in the beautiful Ivy Chimney Cottage. My partner and I both live and work in a busy city, and dreamt of finding a little tranquil getaway, in the heart of the countryside. Ivy Chimney Cottage ticked all of the boxes and completely exceeded our expectations. The location of the cottage is just perfect. Surrounded by the owners farm land, the upstairs roof terrace was perfect for enjoying breakfast and lunch in the sunshine, whilst enjoying gorgeous countryside views. It is also ideally located for exploring nearby landmarks like St Ives, Lizard Point and St Michaels Mount. The cottage itself is pristine, and provides everything you could want for a week (or more) away. The bed is comfortable and the power shower is a dream! We met the owners on a couple of occasions, in passing when heading out for the day, but we were then otherwise left to our own devices which suited us perfectly. My Partner and I have had the most delightful, enjoyable,relaxing holiday in beautiful Ivy Chimney Cottage and are frantically searching the diary to return again. We cannot fault this little gem at all- 10/10 from us!! Thank you!!
