The property consists of four gites set around a central courtyard. They also have their own private outside sitting areas.

Arch is for two people - Double bedroom (en-suite)
Lodge is for two adults and two children - Double bedroom and a small twin bedroom
Grange is for up to six people - One double bedroom, one triple bedroom (1 single and a double bed), one single bedroom.

We spent 5 days at the beautiful Domaine de Beausoleil. Daren and Joy were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The Grange gite was spacious and suited our needs. Having a pool outside our gite for our sole usage was a lovey indulgence. Joy is an excellent cook, her 4 course evening meal was delicious. The village of Lauzan was a 15 minute walk away. We visited it several times to enjoy the local coffee, bread and patisseries. The weather was glorious. The location peaceful. It was a much needed step away from a busy world into the serenity of the glorious rural French countryside. Thank you Daren and Joy we will be back.

Excellent
Daren and Joy were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble when we stayed for the Food and Wine Lovers weekend. The food was amazing and Joy also shared some of her culinary secrets with us on a demonstration morning, which we very much enjoyed. We stayed a few days before the event started and relaxed around the two pools. This was our second visit - the first one pre-Covid - and we will definitely be back again to visit this beautiful part of France.

A perfect location for a relaxing break
We attended the French Food and Wine Lovers’ Weekend at Domaine de Beausoleil – a four day gastronomic extravaganza staying in an authentic well-appointed gite in picturesque rural surroundings near Lauzun in South West France. The food was spectacular with each day starting with full flavoured breakfast eggs fresh from hens that roamed free on the property, culminating one evening with a superb eight course dinner served with excellent wines from a local vineyard. Our hosts, Daren and Joy, could not have been more welcoming or attentive which made this trip one of the most enjoyable short breaks we have been on. Domaine de Beausoleil is a great place to stay and visit this beautiful part of France with or without the foodie experience!

Our second visit - we remain very impressed
After joining a large group (booking all the accommodation in 2017), we came back as a family of four.
The gites are lovey and the setting is fabulous.
The hosts are very relaxed and helpful.
The perfect spot - idyllic.

Fantastic holiday
Really lovely place to have a holiday. Great to relax in idyllic surroundings and convenient facilities. Loved walking into the village to buy bread and pastries from the boulangerie. Self catering but possible to book the odd evening meal - can recommend Joy’s amazing cooking!

Peaceful enchanting perfect
The location is superb, very very french and beautiful. Lots of little nooks and crannies to escape to read and think. We were a large party who took over the 4 gites and everyone was catered for either swimming, sunbathing, lounging or meeting up for a BBQ as a group. Nice walk to Lauzun village, and short 5km drive to larger village for a day at the market. All in all a wonderful get away from it all holiday. Daren and Joy were terrific hosts and the celebratory meal Joy cooked for us was out of this world. A holiday to remember.

Fabulous holiday!
Enjoyed a wonderful food lovers break with friends. The gites were charming,
comfortable and clean. Food and welcome from Joy and Daren amazing. Had
great weather, so took advantage of the pools and beautiful well tended grounds.
Break included a vineyard tour and chocolate factory shop, would recommend!

French food lovers break
The beautiful rural location was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts Joy & Darren were so welcoming and accommodating and the gites were beautiful, clean and well furnished. The trips to the local vineyard and chocolate maker was fantastic and the wine provided with the 5 star food was of a high standard, would definitely go again...
