Groups of up to 22 guests can comfortably stay at The Beach Pad with 7 bedrooms, 12-15 beds and 6 full baths. When you rent The Beach Pad you will have 4 individual studio apartments and the 3 bedroom, 2 bath Surf House. The Surf House is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the first floor of The Beach Pad and sleeps up to 8 people. The 4 open floor plan loft apartments are located on the second and third floor and sleep up to 4 people each. Every loft has their own private bathroom, kitchenette and balcony with outdoor seating. The rooftop deck at the top of the property is great for group gatherings. Enjoy views of the waves at Sandy Beach and the surrounding dense, lush greenery. Birds will serenade you in the morning and coquis will greet you every night! The Beach Pad is the only property in the Sandy Beach area that has solar and a commercial grade generator, 2 backup sources of power, in an effort to ensure our guests’ comfort during the frequent power outages in Puntas. Other Details to Note: COVID Update: Those visiting Puerto Rico should review the local measures in place, developed by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC), such as social distancing, mandatory face coverings in public areas, and mandates for businesses. Travelers entering the island may have to provide the following forms upon arrival: a Travel Declaration Form, a vaccination card, or negative PCR molecular or antigen COVID-19 test results. We have always been committed to providing the highest standard of cleanliness at The Beach Pad. During this pandemic, we have implemented an even more stringent cleaning protocol, above and beyond CDC recommendations, created by our owner who has more than 20 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Our new cleaning protocol includes, but is not limited to: masks worn by cleaning staff, hand sanitizer provided in every room, and additional sterilization of high-touch areas like door knobs and handles. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests, staff and community. Noise level warning: The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental property surrounded by restaurants, shops, and bars in the center of Puntas. It is conveniently located and during high season (Dec-April) and holiday weekends you may hear live bands or DJs until midnight on weekdays and much later on weekends. All other times of the year you will find it to be much quieter. If you are looking for an extremely quiet, away from it all location, this may not be your best choice. From August through October some restaurants and bars close for the season or have limited hours. There are still plenty of restaurants open year-round and you can always check with us, or your digital guidebook to find out what is open! Splendid weekend
We stayed at the Happy Turtle apartment and it was so beautifully decorated. They had it all equipped including chairs, towels and ice cooler to go to the beach. Loved the apartment and Sandy Beach!

Loved it!
We’ve had an amazing time at The Beach Pad!!! It is the second time we stay. The first time, it was a couple’s weekends and, this time, we went with our children and extended family. Our family had two rooms and we spent a great deal of time in our balconies that were next to each other. The place is great!!! It is well decorated and cozy with comfortable beds and sofa. The Beach Pad provided all we needed and more. Everything was clean. It is a very short walking distance to a beach and a great burger place/bar. The room was cozy with a kitchenette so we were able to bring drinks and food. It also included beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs. We drove to other great beaches and restaurants that were within minutes. The host was very accommodating and responsive. We are definitely planning to return!

Superb stay!
Rented the whole place with a party of 21 last St. Valentine's weekend. The house was PERFECT! Exquisitely decorated. Fully furnished with tons of goodies for your beach weekend trip: beach chairs, umbrellas, carts, and the likes. Great kitchen on the first floor. Two BBQs. Perfectly located in the middle of Sandy Beach at Barrio Puntas. Owner was available at all times. Our whole group was extremely satisfied with the place. Definitely recommended.

Great time in Rincon and The Beach Pad
Amazing location! Modern well appointed, spacious room with all the bells and whistles!! All this and impeccably clean! Loved the balcony and the well stocked kitchenette with any and everything you needed! These owners anticipate all your possible wants and needs! They provide you with beach towels, beach chairs, cooler! The rooftops provides beautiful views and grill! Great for hanging with friends at the end of a beach hoping day! Simply all you need is a bathing suit and flip flops! The Beach Pad sits minutes from the beach and across from the best burger bar in the world. You walk around the immediate area and find yourself interacting with beautiful ponies and horses. The locals are super chilled and amazingly friendly. Great places close by to see the most amazing sunsets! Please don’t miss this! This is the place to relax and forget the world!

Will stay again
We stayed at The Beach Pad this past weekend. First, the communication with the hosts was excellent. I sent an email and it was answered in no time. I spoke with Alan about the ins and outs place and he was very pleasant. The payment, further instruction emails was easy. Second, THE PLACE!! The pictures on the website looked really nice. When we got there and saw each apartment, we were blown away. Well taken care of. We appreciated the details of each unit: the floors, kitchenette, bathrooms, doors, frames. It is conveniently located near the beach (less than 5 minute walk). You can also walk to the nearby restaurants. It is amazing for group rentals. There were 19 of us this time and we all slept very comfortable. Third, the person in charge greeted us on the first day. He introduced himself, offered some advise and was available to us. To have someone to talk to in case of an emergency was a relief. We were pleased with The Beach Pad. It’s been recommended to our friends and family members. Definitely, worth it. Will stay again.

Best vacation rental in Rincon!
The Beach Pad is the perfect place to stay in Rincon! A few steps from the beach, the location couldn't be any better. It's also close to beautiful and convenient restaurants and bars. The rooms- all of them- (so hard to pick!) are clean, well equipped and modern. Alan and Eileen, the hosts, are the best: always available and helpful, they definitely made our family vacation relaxing and easy. We are definitely coming back!

Paradise Found
My husband and I just returned from a week at the Beach Pad, everything about our trip was amazing. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which was just gorgeous. Check in and check out was a complete breeze. Communication with the owner and manager was very good. They provided everything you could possibly need for a very relaxing beach vacation including a preloaded IPad with their favorite restaurants, activities and beaches. There is small market right downstairs and two minute walk to beautiful beach, yoga, restaurants, bars. Can not say enough about how great this week has been in Rincon.

About the neighborhood
Rincón, the ‘town of beautiful sunsets’ is also known for its record-breaking waves, relaxed culture, friendly inhabitants, and delicious food. The Beach Pad is a 5 unit vacation rental conveniently located in the center of Puntas, just steps to Sandy and Pools Beach. Next door is the popular Kahuna Burger Bar. They have great burgers and it is a popular spot to go for a drink at night. The well-known Tamboo Bar and Grill is just down the street, right before Sandy Beach, and has beautiful ocean front dining. There are also boutique shops, a mini-mart, a bagel shop, sandwich shop, a coffee and smoothie shack with vegan options within walking distance! Although you can stay in Puntas, we recommend you go for a drive and explore the area.
Getting around
From The Beach Pad you can walk to 3 beautiful beaches, multiple restaurants and bars, a coffee shack, catch a yoga class on the beach, get a massage or rent water sports gear. If you would like to explore beyond Puntas, renting a car is highly recommended. We can provide you with contact information for local taxi services if you need airport, local or day-trip transportation.
