My wife Barbara and I stayed here with family members for 4 nights and had the most wonderful time. From the moment we walked into the house we felt at home. Marri House is a special place and Kath and Don are special types of hosts. The house is immaculately presented and nothing is too much trouble for Kath and Don who live next door. Pemberton itself is a lovely town with everything that the visitor could need. Surrounded by beautiful forests, vineyards and farms it is also a great jumping off place for day trips to the many places of interest in this gorgeous part of Southwest Australia. Barbara and I can’t recommend Marri House too highly and we really hope that we can return very soon

We have travelled quite a lot over the past 12 years and Marri House is up there as one of the best places that we have ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Kathy and Don were first class hosts and a lot of thought has clearly been put into providing every possible facility that you can need. My husband was very pleased to find fox sports, but there is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need, a large television, DVD player, a games station, a hammock, bbq, the list goes on. The house is well presented and well stocked, a wonderful large fruit platter, bottle of wine and eggs from their own chooks are read for your arrival. Kathy and Don clearly take huge pride in what they do and they are there if you need them but they also respect your need for privacy. We also loved meeting The kookaburra. Kathy asked us if there was anything that could be done to improve the house, but as per the title of this review - you can’t improve on perfection. A fabulous stay. Wish we could go back.

My family and I have stayed in many properties but Marti House surpasses them all. It is such a beautifully appointed and practical house. The furniture is magnificent and the fruit platter a lovely touch. Kathy and Don were near by but never intrusive. My teenage boys had a ball on the bikes provided and we adored the kookaburras and chickens. We can’t wait to stay again. Oh and Pemberton is our new favourite place. Magnificent forests, water holes, wine and food.

Had a shorter stay last year and we enjoyed it so much we came back for a longer stay with friends to fully enjoy this wonderful place. This has to be the best fully-equipped rental house I've ever stayed in, with so many thoughtful touches. A great place to enjoy winter in the forest with a warm toasty log fire, or the reverse cycle air conditioner on in the morning. Kathy and Don continue to put a lot of time, money and effort into maintaining and upgrading this house with the latest features, including USB charger power points in the bedrooms, located adjacent to the bedside tables. Kathy also provides fresh eggs to enjoy wonderful leisurely breakfasts, and a large platter of fresh fruit and interesting items. Definitely on our list of places we recommend to our friends.

My girls hockey team stayed at Marri House and had the absolute best time! The rooms were perfect, the house is lush and had literally everything we needed. Kath and Don were the best hosts, making sure we had fresh eggs, introducing us to their chickens, and even driving us into town and wineries. It's just outside of town, on the edge of the forest and close to all the best Pemberton offers. I can't wait to come back and stay here again! I would recommend Marri House to absolutely everyone.

What a gem of a find this place was. Came across it putting in a google search of luxury accomodation in Pemberton area and it truly lives up to the photos & description. Close enough to the town but still feels out In the country. The hosts Kathy & Don have thought of everything , apart from being fitted out with quality furnishings & bedding there is a plethora of games, books & even Foxtel movies . A stunning bowl of fruit, fresh eggs and bottle of wine just topped it off...We couldn't think of anything they could improve on and we will definitely be back and try a winter stay as and try out the very inviting log fire in the lounge. 5 star property indeed

Marri House is modern and elegant. It's beautifully furnished with everything you'll need for your stay! I loved the beautiful gardens and the porch which came equipped with a BBQ, seating area and a huge hammock. Perfect for lounging in and enjoying the verdant grounds. Indoors Marri House comes with a well thought out and modern kitchen and in the living room there is a fireplace. The owners have even thought to provide a selection of pillows for you to choose from. For those who want to be in a natural setting but still have their creature comforts, this is the perfect place!

This self catering house is of the very highest standard, the attention to detail, fittings, equipment and overall quality amazing, I could not fault any aspect.

I needed three bedrooms for my family group including elderly parents. This home is perfect and Kathy so friendly and accommodating. The house is beautiful with gorgeous décor and fitted with everything and more that holidayers need. The master suite with large ensuite, walk in robe with bath robes impressed the aged parents and we enjoyed the other spacious bedrooms (with bath robes too) and the pillow menu (!) The fruit platter was enormous, the fire set to light and the kitchen held more plates, glasses and utensils than I have at home. The only problem was we were there for only one night. We rated it 5 stars and the outstanding accommodation of our two week trip.

We had a lovely stay at Marri House. Kathy and Don are very friendly, thoughtful hosts and created Marri House with great attention to detail. Pemberton is a beautiful stay and we wish we could have been there longer. Will be back!
