What an amazing place to stay in super clean everything you need for a fantastic break is provided the surroundings are so peaceful and we even saw a platypus in the dam that we watched from the comfort of the lounge we would recommend anyone with high expectations to stay here you will not be disappointed, Thanks Heaps Linda from Greg and Laurel 😊

We absolutely loved our stay at Naivasha cottage. From the already roaring fire when we came in, to the little touches like marshmallows and hot chocolate being provided. We cosied up with hot drinks and watched the platypus and the ducks playing out the window. We appreciated the well equiped kitchen which meant we could cook meals and really reset without having the leave the cottage at all! The bed was the comfiest thing we’ve slept on in a while, so good sleeps were definitely had. Also the bath is an understated touch of luxury to wind down after an already relaxing day.

Equal parts Nostalgia and Modern, this beautiful retreat was perfect for recharging the spirit. Naivasha Cottage was immaculate, well appointed and very comfortable. Linda's eye for detail certainly shone through. As soon as I entered the space I felt relaxed; partly due to the serene decor colours & beautiful artwork and partly due to the wonderful vista viewed through the picture windows. Tall eucalypts framing the property's dam created the perfect backdrop for many wildlife sightings...including that of the sensational endemic Native Hens (as well as Tasmanian Pademelons and Red-necked Wallabies). I had my camera out and about a lot during my 2 night visit...there was a lot to photograph! Thank you, Linda, for creating a quiet and welcoming space...a place that i hope to return to one day.

If your looking for peace and serenity this is the perfect place for you. From the beautiful view of the trees, the sound of birds, the wildlife (and the resident chickens), the most comfy cute cosy cottage with everything you could wish for. We arrived on a cold day and was greeted by a warm space with the combustion fire working its magic. We fell in love with this magical place and we will definitely be going back some day. Sadly we didn’t get to meet Linda the owner but none the less she kept us informed via messaging. The cookies were pretty yummy too! Thankyou so much for your incredible hospitality.

What a beautiful place. The cottage itself was spacious and beautifully decorated with a sense of serenity and peacefullness. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to rest, relax or cook our meals. We breakfasted on the fresh eggs, bread and yummy jam supplied. We could collect eggs from the friendly hens each morning. We didn't even turn on the tv as the birdlife and other wildlife on and around the the dam kept us entertained. It was only a few minutes drive back into Deloraine to wander around the market and shops. Linda was a wonderful, friendly host and I loved all the small, thoughtful touches around the cottage. It was suitable for couples and families, with plenty of room. I can't recommend this enough as a place to relax and unwind.

What a beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle! Peace and quiet (minus my kids noise haha) Linda was lovely and the personal touches to make us feel welcome really did the job! The kids loved the chooks, ducks and turbo chooks! We checked for fresh eggs every chance we could and they enjoyed feeding them each morning... probably a little too much haha having 4 children to keep an eye on by myself was made so much easier because the area around the house was fully fenced! Great for the little ones and peace of mind! Hope to be back again, minus the kids and with wine on hand lol

A beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Comfortable beds as well with good quality linen. We slept well. Clearly loved and well maintained. We also enjoyed collecting fresh eggs for breakfast.

This quaint cottage in an idyllic location was a wonderful retreat for my family. It is well equipped with everything you could need, spotlessly clean and the personal touches like throw rugs, jigsaws and DVD's provided for use during our stay made it feel like a home away from home. Linda was very welcoming and had left a welcome basket of bread, farm butter, honey and chocolates, plus local milk in the fridge, a lovely touch. The phone coverage and wifi speed were both great. If you're looking to go off the grid and relax I can't recommend Naivasha Cottage highly enough!

My Family and I ended a 10 day Tasmanian adventure with three wonderful nights at Naivasha Cottage. The cottage (and Linda!) is so warm and welcoming. Our three young children had a ball feeding ducks, chickens, jumping on the trampoline and spotting wallabies. A beautiful escape to the bush. Highly recommended!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Naivasha! We were a group of 7 (2 kids, mum, dad, grandparents and great-aunt) ranging from 3 to 70+ in age and each of us fell in love with the property. Linda was an exceptional host and provided welcome goodies along with her time to ensure that we were well-equipped for our stay in the region. In 4 days we were able to visit the Trowunna, Marakoopa Caves, the town of Deloraine itself and several other sites in the area and STILL had time to enjoy Naivasha, thanks to Linda's guidance. The property itself was immaculate and had everything one could possibly need for their stay - regardless of length. I will definitely be returning!
