Set in 3 acres of gardens this one bedroom gite is ideal for a couple but does have the facility to sleep 4 with the use of the sofa bed in the lounge . We also have La Petite Maison May in the same grounds so perfect for grandparents or friends to rent out both gites. On the ground floor there is a kitchenette complete with pots, pans, cooker and microwave. In the lounge area there is a sofa bed and a DVD player. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom complete with a wardrobe and chest of drawers. There is also a small shower room. Outside there is a private patio area, garden furniture and small BBQ. There is a parking area at the side of the barn. Interaction with guests
For those who are interested in the history surrounding Normandy and are planning to visit the D Day beach and battle sites, we can put you in contact with an English historian who lives locally & who can help you to plan an itinerary & join you for the day. Having lived in Normandy since 2009, Alan has collected a huge amount of material on the liberation & has enabled school groups, families & couples to see where the key events actually happened, including many places that do not feature in the guide books & condensing into one day a variety of sites that would take much longer to discover independently. Visits tailored to your needs and interests & a typical accompanied day, in your own vehicle, from 9am-6pm would cost 200 euros.
