This beautiful house is in a quiet mountain village. It is ideal for exploring the natural beauty of this area with access to the peaks, valleys and the most beautiful beaches in Spain.
This pretty village house, with its preserved stone walls and antique furniture, is bursting with rural charm; everything from the magnificent surroundings to the use of ecological restoration materials makes this a delightful and characterful place to stay.

Lovely stay in Villandás
We really enjoyed the peaceful, rural location for a fantastic break. The house was the ideal size for a family of four, and was cool on hot days. Carmen was a lovely host with lots of advice, recommendations for places to visit and walks from your doorstep. The local town of Grado had all the necessary facilities and shops. We especially loved the patio and the garden to sit and appreciate the tranquility. Highly recommended.

Preciosa casa con unas vistas increíbles.
Hemos estados 8 días en Casa Magnolia y se nos han pasado como si nada. La casa es una verdadera maravilla, cuenta con todos lo que necesitas para tu estancia y está decorada con mucho mimo y hasta el más mínimo detalle, menaje de cocina completo, horno, lavadora, secador, microondas, tostador, juegos de mesa, libros, etc.
Cuenta con dos plantas en la planta baja tienes el dormitorio, la cama es muy cómoda tamaño king size con sábanas de lino y el baño, con ducha y bañera.
En la planta de arriba se encuentra la cocina, equipada con todo lo necesario y el salón con unas vistas increíbles con un sofá de dos plazas, un sillón y un tv que no es necesaria y a que las vistas a la montaña desde el ventanal sin increíbles.
Carmen es un encanto, super amable y siempre atenta a cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Te recomienda lugares para comer, para comprar pan, buenísimo por cierto, quesos o para tomar un dulce, ya sea en Grado o en Oviedo, además de recomendarte que visitar y encima hace un cuajada exquisita.

Muy recomendable para familias y parejas
Somos una familia con un niño y una niña, y hemos pasado los 9 días más buenos del verano en la casa de Pisón del Fondón. Está equipada con todo lo que puedes necesitar. Un once en limpieza y conservación. Tanto el patio interior como el jardín son lugares ideales para descansar entre visita y visita. Las habitaciones de la casa tienen un tamaño ideal y una distribución muy cómoda.
A buena distancia de los principales puntos de interés de Asturias, pero también ideal para pasar todo el tiempo en Villandás en plan relajado. Se pueden hacer muchas rutas partiendo de la casa.
Los vecinos del pueblo son gente encantadora, y Carmen y Jason son unos anfitriones atentos y pendientes de cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar. Un lugar muy recomendable para pasar unos días en Asturias. Las 8 noches que pasamos se nos hicieron muy cortas.

Cosy cottage in the mountains
This place is very quiet and peaceful, perfect for an escape from city life. The hosts were welcoming, always happy to help and offer advice for what to do in the area - and they have a beautiful garden to relax in. The house has a nice set-up with a kitchen so you can make your meals and a wood burner which kept us warm (it can get quite rainy in the mountains!). It's separate from the host's house, but close enough that you can always ask for help if needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and we got some good night's sleep since it is so quiet. Nearby there are nature reserves, beaches, small towns and villages to explore, and the city of Oviedo. I only stayed for a few days but wish I could've stayed for longer - highly recommend.

Fenomenal
Estuvimos alojados una semana. Carmen nos atendió como si fuéramos de su familia. Muy cercana. La casa está fenomenal, con todo tipo de detalle, miy bien equipada y con un jardín privado, a no más de 20 metros de la casa. Tranquilidad absoluta en el pueblo, buscando relax y descanso.

MARAVILLOSA
Casa Magnolia ha sido increible, incluso mejor que en las fotografías. La casa es preciosa, cuidada al máximo, llena de bonitos detalles, muy buena iluminación y aislamiento del exterior, los ventanales enormes a las montañas...en fin la casa tiene esa calidez que te hace sentir como en casa. Luego está el maravilloso jardin para disfrutar despues de las excursiones del día tomando una cervecita fresquita...
Al mismo nivel que la casa está el trato con Carmen y Jason que son encantadores, hasta se llevaron a nuestra hija de paseo. Los habitantes del pueblo son majisimos, especialmente los que viven enfrente.
Nos teníamos que ir pero nos habríamos quedado mucho más tiempo. COMPLETAMENTE RECOMENDABLE. Tuvimos mucha suerte de poder vivir allí una inolvidable semana. Gracias!

Maravillosa estancia en pleno corazón de Asturias
Estupenda casa rural en donde pasamos quince días maravillosos. No se puede pedir mas; Tranquilidad, comodidad, entorno espectacular y una casa y su jardín que son de diez. Enhorabuena a Carmen y Jason por el buen gusto y su amabilidad.
Un sitio super recomendable a donde volver siempre.....

Pison de Fondon Asturias
We had a lovely stay at Pison de Fondon in Asturias. The home was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The patio and garden were a wonderful place to sit and relax and listen to the birds and other sounds of nature. We were able to cook and eat outside in the privacy of our own courtyard. Carmen, the owner, was very helpful and always available to answer any questions. This is a great place for families and people looking for a relaxing holiday.

No se puede ir sin REPETIR!!!
Hemos pasado una semana mágica en este rincón de Asturias, la casa y el jardín son exactamente como muestran las fotos, pero añadiendo,el sonido de la naturaleza y la amabilidad de la gran anfitriona Carmen y los habitantes de Villandás.
Hicimos nueve horas y media de viaje, pero imaginaos si vale la pena que ya estamos cuadrando las vacaciones de navidad para Volver!!!

About the neighborhood
The central location of the house makes it an ideal starting point for visiting the sights of Asturias, undoubtedly one of Spain’s most attractive bucolic regions. The ‘protected area’ of Pico Caldoveiro is very nearby, the Camino Real de la Mesa is 4km away, and Puerto de Maravio is 10km away. The house is also not far from the Parque Natural de Somiedo (20km) and the Senda del Oso (30km). All of these are places of unique natural beauty and provide a wonderful array of walks and wildlife for visitors. Within the village, you can enjoy the simple pleasures of local farming and livestock handling (either in an observational capacity or in a more hands-on sense if you choose!) or you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

How to get there
From Grado take the AS-311 to Tameza. After 8 km you turn right in San Pedro on the GR-4 where there is a sign for Villandas and Restiello. After 9km there is a turn to the left signposted Villandas. When you turn into the village there is a wooden sign for the house: look for the wooden doors!
