My holiday home is an old rural home build in 1905, good for family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the high ceilings, the cosiness, and the modern kitchen with dishwasher and underfloor heating and the great bathroom with underfloor heating as well.
My rural holiday home in Thorning is in park like surroundings with centuries old oak and beech trees and the surroundings are wonderful for walking or jogging in the forest reserve and then come home to have a cosy evening at the wood stove in the dining room or just find your favourite channel on the satellite TV in the sitting room and relax.
Your children can play in the yard and you can walk your dog in the woods.

There is an interesting church and graveyard and a museum with a big bird collection within walking distance. There are now just a few shops in the village, a bakery and a ‘Spar’ grocery. If you want more selection of stores you can go to Kjellerup ( 5,8 km), Viborg (18 km), Silkeborg (19 km), Herning (28 km).
My holiday home is situated on the Ancient Road ‘Hærvejen’, the old pilgrim, army and ox road through Jutland to Germany. Nowadays a popular route for biking or hiking.
More
Many of my visitors like to go angling.
There are plenty of ‘Put & Take’ places around. No public angling licence is required for a trout lake or Put & Take waters. (For angling in public salt- or freshwater you will need a Danish angling licence. You can just download it to your smartphone www.fiskekort.dk).
There is a room beside the entrance with a huge freezer for cleaning and preparing the fish you caught.
