Below the Cherry tree house, is the Shotover river. You can walk to this past our historic miners cottage. The beach below is totally private, with only the Shotover jet boats going past.

You will find that they will give you all the privacy that you want, and if you want a chat about the area , travel or gardening, just pull up a chair on the veranda.
Some people choose to have breakfast in the main house, this can be fun and informative, exchanging experiences and information. Nery and Michael are well traveled hosts.
Trelawn’s Cherry Tree House was a dream for us!!! We had a week of complete peace and quiet. Very tastefully decorated, excellent beds, and a bubble-bath. The best part was the terrace with a great view of the mountains and the river. The owners are excellent hosts, happy to have a chat. They looked after us very well with clean sheets and towels every other day. The gorkies were keen to keep us company and to take us for a walk down to the river. Perfect location in between Queenstown and Arrowtown! Hope to return there on our next visit! Many thanks Michael and Nery!!!

Charming paradise.
Thank you Nery & Michael for your wonderful hospitality and your magnificent Bed & Breakfast. Waking to 3 beautiful corgie dogs to welcome us and showing us where the walking tracks are around your exquisite property. Breathing in the view over the Shotover River and Coronet Peak, you can't get better than that.

Quintessentially Perfect
From the moment of our arrival the wow factor was overpowering. It was a perfect cottage, perfectly stunning view and perfect hosts. Nery and Michael did everything they could to make our stay a most memorable experience. They arranged our perfect trip to Milford Sound ( Glenorchy air) and to Skipper's Canyon with the added benefit of local guide and very skilled driver. Michael and Nery provided us with fantastic local insight which meant we were able to maximise our experience in the limited time we had in the area. They seemed to instinctively shape their advice to our capabilities and we are sure they could tailor this advice to fit the requirements of all of their guests. The accommodation is set to a very high standard and the location is stunning

Perfect Wedding Venue/Accommodation
The Cherry Tree house perfectly suited our needs as 'newlyweds' with a 3 year old in tow. We were able to fulfil parental duties and also relax in the comfort of the cottage and with the hospitality of Nery and Michael - we chose to have full breakfasts in the main house. The location of the cherry tree house at Trelawn affords privacy and inclusion as we stayed at Trelawn with our entire family to celebrate our marriage, which was performed on the deck of the main house, and organised by Nery and Michael :)
The Cherry Tree house had a full kitchen/dishwasher and laundry. We were able to relax in the evening in the lounge area away from the sleeping child. The Spa bath was a highlight for me!

Amazing place great people can't wait to go back
We stayed in the cherry treehouse cottage at Trelawn for 4 nights in August. We were also married at this amazing place on the Saturday during our stay. I cannot speak highly enough of the location, the beautiful hosts (Nery & Michael) and the warmth and charm of the cottage. The views of the shotover river and coronet peak are absolutely stunning and the location is close enough to Queenstown whilst providing a romantic detached hideaway. Nery and Michael were so generous with their time and played the perfect hosts, there when we needed them but always mindful of our space and privacy. Sarah and Rusty (the corgis) became our best friends and were always there to greet us when we arrived home after some time on the slopes.
I may sound a little gushing in my praise but this truly was a memorable experience in NZ. We have stayed in many places around the world during our extensive travels and Trelawn is without a doubt right at the top of our list. If anyone is looking for a special place to share with someone close (or even a stand-out wedding venue) then this is it.
Thanks to Nery and Michael and we hope to see you (and Sarah & Rusty) again soon.

beautiful place that can do with improvments
The location was beautiful and the hosts were friendly and helpful.The only thing is the cottage furniture is quite old and could look much better and feel more comfortable if some renovations were preformed,then it would be fantastic.

Gorgeous, cosy, romantic holiday
Gorgeous and cosy cottage (we stayed in the cherry tree house). It snowed on us and was just perfect. The hosts are lovely and their dogs made us feel right at home. A short 5 minute drive into town. Amazing views.

The Cherry Tree house is part of a very private location, that is very quite at night.
Arthur's Point is a sunny micro climate 5 minutes north of Queenstown.
One could say the views are dramatic compared to Queenstown.
Its main attraction is the Shotover Jet, this drives around the Trelawn property.
Coronet Peak ski field is a 12 minute drive from Arthur's Point.
There are several river walks that you can do close by.
Getting around
The local taxis are 5 minutes away, there is a bus stop about 6 minutes walk from here. The bus is cheap $2 pp to go anywhere.
You are best to hire a rental car so that you can visit Glenorchy Wanaka and the Gibston valley at your own leisure.

Nowadays, Michael will send you a email on the best way to get to Trelawn Place, just prior to your arrival date.
The easiest way here is via Arrowtown, coming along Malaghans road.
From Queenstown, take the Coronet Peak road to Arthurs point. The first road off to the right after traveling 3 kms is Watties Track. A blue sign Trelawn Riverside Cottages is what you are looking for,. Take that down to the 3rd entrance way on the left.
