The space
Private room on the ground floor of a 3 story townhouse. The room has a queen-size bed with Sealy mattress. The ensuite bathroom has a brand new toilet, small vanity and a great shower. Toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities are provided. There are a number of maps and brochures on the side table for things to do around Auckland. There is a bean bag chair for reading and relaxing. The chest of drawers and the small desk are there for you to use if you wish.
Guest access
As a guest will have access to the entire townhouse, except for the 2 bedrooms on the top story. Feel free to use all the amenities which include washer and dryer, all kitchen appliances, and and large BBQ on the balcony. You will also have access to the TV and blu-ray player, unlimited Ultra Fast Broadband, Netflix, Lightbox, and a large DVD/Blu-ray collection. Feel free to use the lounge, balcony, and kitchen areas on level 1 at any time.
Interaction with guests
The room is self contained on the ground floor you can have complete privacy if you desire. You will have a key so you can come and go as you please. When we are around, you're welcome to join us for meals, wine, and a good chat. Or we are happy to give you your privacy.
The neighbourhood
Auckland right at your doorstep. This townhouse is in a great location, within walking distance to some of Auckland's top restaurants, bars, cafes and shopping. While we are close to great nightlife destinations, we are tucked away on a side street so it is very quiet and safe.
Getting around
Everything is walking distance. Alternatively, there are multiple bus stops 1min walk from our door which will take you directly into the city. On-street parking is available, but can be difficult to find on weekends
Other things to note
Matt is in his early 30's, works in media and can sometimes work crazy hours. Chris is in his mid-late 20' and works in IT. He usually works from home. We are a gay friendly house.
