This is the perfect location for a stay in Hobart, whether for a few nights or longer. An entire house in a suburban street, but only just over 3km from the CBD, with plenty of parking either in the driveway or on the street. It offers all the comforts of home and would be a great base for exploring southern Tasmania. I stayed on my own but the house would be perfect for larger groups, particularly families. The house itself has everything needed for a comfortable stay, and has clearly been set up with considerable thought for the comfort and convenience of guests. Everything is spotlessly clean, the grounds are well maintained (there's even a play area and cubbyhouse for children) and spacious. Full kitchen with all appliances (including coffee machine), breakfast supplies; two bathrooms (one with washing machine and dryer), three bedrooms (the one I used was extremely comfortable), comfortable lounge and a dining room with pleasant outlook. Guidebooks and local information provided, as well as general reading material. Free wifi (which I did not use so cannot rate). Quirky decorative additions add to the feeling of 'home away from home'. If you don't wish to drive there is a bus stop within metres of the house, and for those who enjoy walking it is within walking distance of the Queens Domain, with the Botanical Gardens not much further away. Very private, and quiet at night (despite being quite close to the major highway into Hobart). Lovely hosts who provide just the right balance of accessibility should you require assistance, while happy to leave you in peace. I could not fault this property in any way, would be more than happy to stay in the future, and highly recommend it to anyone.
