Welcome to our delightful detached holiday cottage in North Norfolk. An ideal holiday location set in a conservation area within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Country lanes afford close access to some of Norfolk's finest countryside, beaches and traditional seaside attractions. There are miles of coastal paths for walkers and the Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away. Weavers Cottage is just a mile from the nearest of the many sandy beaches. It is just 2 miles from the lovely award winning 'Blue Flag' sandy beach at Mundesley with its dramatic cliffs and golf course. It is also just 5 miles from the popular seaside town of Cromer with its famous crabs and pier that hosts during the summer season, the country's only 'end of the pier show'. Weavers Cottage is a pretty detached 18th-century brick and flint cottage which has a wealth of beams and pretty soft furnishings and is set next to the owners home. The cottage has been well renovated without spoiling the charm of the period property and it is comfortably furnished. The front door is accessed from the driveway and on entering the hallway the wc with hand basin is located in a room to the right. Straight ahead is a door leading to the lounge with open fire, tv, dvd etc and comfortable leather seating for four. This links to the, good sized, separate dining room with side table and dining table which seats four. From this room there is access to a separate kitchen. This is a modern country style kitchen and is well equipped including a washer/dryer etc. The shower room is then accessed off the kitchen this has recently been fitted with a quadrant shower cubicle and wash basin etc. Back through to the dining room there is a traditional pretty twisty staircase (only 8 stairs) leading the the twin bedroom with beams and door through to double bedroom also with beams. Both have been newly carpeted and are tastefully furnished. From the dining room there is a back door leading outside where visitors can relax in the sheltered gravelled courtyard with attractive colourful planting and table, chairs and umbrella. From here you can access the driveway and the attractively laid out garden with lawn, shrubs and trees also with garden seating (a washing line is also available in this area). More

Cottage was very clean and well presented on arrival. Lovely friendly welcome from Pauline. Nice location not too far from the beach and shops. Garden was perfect for the children who enjoyed playing and also for adults wanting some peaceful outdoor time.

Thank you for your review - it was great having you stay. The NNR trip is still very enjoyable and Holt is a lovely little town when you get there.

About the neighborhood
In Poppyland within easy reach are the National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg Halls and also Sheringham Park - offering wonderful walks through spectacular rhododendrons. Cromer has lovely beaches and at Sheringham the North Norfolk steam railway runs through wonderful scenery to the Georgian town of Holt. The coast road to the west leads to some lovely villages including Morston and Blakeney where boat trips are available to visit the bird sanctuary and seal colony of Blakeney Point and further on is the Queen's holiday residence at Sandringham. The Fine City of Norwich with its 900 year old Cathedral, Norman Castle and many other interesting historical sites is well worth a visit. It also offers some of the country's best shopping facilities. In North Norfolk there are ...
