About the neighborhood
The 4th Apple Feast will take place for the second time at 18/9/2016, at the Livadi plateau, the homeland of the famous apples of Kroussonas, very near to our guest houses! Apart from the traditional cretan music, dances, food and sweets made of apple, there will be activities for you to enjoy, such as archery and horse riding. Our little friends can enjoy a ride with our donkey, Aspasia! Come to see and get familiar with the process of cultivation and harvest of the apples, taste their unique quality and have fun all day long!

How to get there
Once you reach the village of Kroussonas (Κρουσώνας), follow the signs of Arodamos (Αροδαμός). The distance from Heraklion to Kroussonas is 20 kilometers and from Kroussonas to Arodamos 11 kilometers. In total you will need approximately 50 minutes. As a local community we wish to respect nature and not to destroy the natural beauty of the plateau, this is why the last 1,5 kilometer, once you enter the plateau, is a dirt road, accessible to all types of cars.
