Gite Villard is in the heart of the countryside in the hamlet of Villars, very quiet and peaceful. Ideal for walking, cycling or relaxing .
The owners live on site and are always available to answer any questions you may have during your stay.
Darnac is situated in the Haute Vienne department which is the least populated region of mainland France. We are positioned centrally between Poitiers and Limoges both of which are just under an hours drive.
The nearest town for shops within 5km is Bussière-Poitevine, where you will find a chemist, bakers, butchers, post office and small supermarket. Further afield, Le Dorat is 12km away, a lovely little town with larger shops and more amenities.

La maison d'y bonheur
Un magnifique nid d'Amour. Là maison est très agréable et toute jolie. Très bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont SUPER SYMPA. C'est une très belle et chaleureuse rencontre.

Gîte calme mais loin des commodités
Gîte au calme, dépaysement garanti puisqu’il est à la campagne. L escalier est très pentu, nécessite une attention particulière avec des enfants en bas âge. Jardinet agréable. Hôte attentionné.

What a Gem! 👍👍👍
My partner and I have just returned from a lovely break in Darnac. The gite was a in beautiful location with stunning views across the countryside. Inside was clean and spacious and the hosts were very friendly and able to help out with local information! There was also a very handy book with local attractions and days out which was handy having never visited the area before! The shower is fantastic and the games cupboard was a bonus when the weather wasn't so bright and the private garden was a little suntrap in the afternoon/ evening when the sun was shining!
All in all a lovely stay and we will be back again to visit in future!

Lovely property for a quiet break!
Me and my partner visited this property in early May.
The gite was well maintained and clean, with a lovely little garden that gets beautiful sunshine in the evening.
The hosts were very accommodating and were able to provide local information that was very useful!
