the house with orchard and river has oodles of space and privacy to have a perfect family holiday
the house is built to a high spec with herringbone brickwork and triple glazed windows
...this is why our house is so special, the orchard and river are just stunning!!
sits on a quiet lane that is a dead end to small hamlet,plus its a recognised hikers route-perfect!
the former local school which was bustling with up to 10 pupils, it is a well loved local landmark
soak up the evening sun from front bench, listen to the water +watch wildlife (our favorite thing!)
lounge, summer or winter, relax on the massive leather sofa and just chill
The Kitchen/Diner fully equipped plus there are a selection of tables in the orchard garden and bbq
Horreos (Barns) in neighbouring Espinaredo. easy walking with great tavern for coffee drinks + food!

lovely lovely! double bedroom with superb features and furnishings!
sit, splash, soak or simply listen to the bubbling water and watch it flow by. and yes make a dam!!
half the orchard is cut so you have loads of space to play and relax -hammock,loungers all supplied
The river in the garden.in winter....all seasons the area offers amazing sights and natural beauty

If you're looking for somewhere away from it all, then this is the place. Set in a valley, the sound of cowbells and a flowing stream is about the most noise you will hear. We arrived in the dead of night, inky black sky a new moon and rambling roads. The directions we were sent had to take over from the sat nav for the last part of the journey from Asturias airport and were brilliant. As the school house appeared around the corner I knew it would be perfect for what we wanted....

Recently stayed at this lovely house and it's beautiful surroundings. Great location situated with just a 5minute drive to local town where there are many activities to source. If you fancy going out for dinner I suggest the lovely restaurant at the bottom of the lane where the food was unforgettable. But for a peaceful day or night, this place...

A 25% deposit (non refundable) is required on all UK/EC bookings, with the full balance being paid no later than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date. All non EC bookings must be paid in FULL at the time of reservation.
The property is fully registered with and inspected by The Asturian Tourist Board and carries 3 stars, the highest standard. All prices inc. 10% Spanish Tax.

About the neighborhood
Just a stroll down the leafy lane to the pretty village of Espinaredo, with some of the best preserved HORREOS or barns in Spain, the little bar also serves a very pleasant tapas. 5km beyond you will find the outstanding restaurant La Vega (Lo De Pelayo), situated on the left just before you meet the main Infiesto road. With its wonderful menu bristling with freshly caught and grilled local fish, venison or wild boar, this is a restaurant not to miss. Make sure you try the spider crab when in season!! An superb 3 course evening meal with drinks and coffee will cost you around 20euros pp. 2 km further on lies the bustling local town of Infiesto, which offers everything from delicious home made pastries, to supermarkets, to kayak hire. Getting around
A car is desirable to visit the house. Local transport is very good however inc FEVE trains and Metro services. Good bus services between main towns provided by ALSA. Taxis are quite cheap, as is local car or mountain bike hire.

RyanAir fly daily to Santander from London Stansted and twice weekly from Manchester and Frankfurt. EasyJet fly from Stansted to Bilbao. Also check out Easy Jet or Ryanair to Madrid from your local airport, as there are great connections from Madrid daily into Asturias/ Oviedo airport. (Iberia airways also have this connection too).
