About the neighborhood
Famous for its impressive 1800’s bridge, Kerne Bridge, is a small rural hamlet, scattered between the banks of the River Wye and Howle Hill and lies between the small market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth.
Close by is the pretty village of Goodrich with its 12th century Marcher Castle, village shop and two pubs both serving good food. Just a short distance away is Symonds Yat, a pretty Herefordshire village, which straddles the River Wye, home to the magnificent natural limestone rock popular with wildlife enthusiasts and climbers, as well as a Butterfly Farm and Maze. The Royal Forest of Dean, England's largest oak forest and boasts many outdoor activities, including horseback riding, walking, fishing and abseiling.
