My husband and I booked a week at Aqua Guesthouse this winter. It is a beautiful, quiet, clean property. The unit we stayed in had everything we needed, even a hammock to relax on the balcony, and a basket of snacks on arrival! I would definitely stay here again.
I like that the location was away from the centre of town, which can be very busy at this time of year (we rented bikes to get around).
Sarah and Gerzon were super helpful with recommendations for things to do and restaurant recommendations!

A little gem
I just returned from 14 nights at Aqua Guesthouse and have nothing but positive comments to make about it. The owners Sarah and Gerzon are personable, warm and welcoming. Their staff Diana and Adolfo keep the rooms, pool and grounds spotlessly clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped with a two burner stovetop, toaster oven, coffee maker, microwave and even a blender. The apartment is tastefully decorated, modern and fresh and has both A/C and ceiling fans. Beach towels and beach chairs are provided and you can even rent bicycles on the property. It’s very quiet, safe and literally a 5 minutes walk to the beach. This is truly a gem of a property and I would definitely stay there again.

This place is absolutely beautiful and first class. We were going to stay for 2 days stayed longer bc so amazing. Brand new clean. Top of the line to the tv , to stools, to dishes, bathroom floor and room was amazing tile. Kitchen great for cooking. Had more than you need. Brand New appliances to cook with . We loved morning coffee on the hammock and the table on patio. Great landscaping. Jungle on one side and the front was just beutiful inside the gate w palm trees lit up at night. The hosts were always so available for any questions. Had snorkeling equipment that they let us use. We mentioned a bike be cool. 2 brand new bikes beach cruisers at our front porch for us . When we woke up in the morning. It's 20 min walk to town if that. On beach . Or road. The beach is behind the villas. They were so easy going and absolutely love to see them again. We will be back. The bed wow is insane comfortable huge California king brand new and rested so well. AC worked great. The Tommy Bahama beach chairs a plus bc had cooler in them. To take w you to beach. Sarah husband also is a certified padi diver and will take u out to dive as he has been doing it for a long time. Privately w him. Just work w him on amount of people and he will gladly work with families , couples, friends, the second largest reef is in Puerto Morelos. ( hammocks outside ) make it great for looking at the stars. Smart TV. Get anything and everything. They go way above and beyond to help you with any questions or concerns you may have. They are sincerely very helpful and amazing couple. They took us into town to store one night. ( Had ear infection) she brought over some medicine. (We will be back) I suggest this place highly. Bc , it's so nice and finished out with the best of the best. Shower the tile floor great tile. All the cooking pans, pots etc, are more than enough. Full size refergerator. Landscaping is really surreal bc we had both sides. Jungle that's secured by fence and the property of their place were we sat outside most of the time. To listen to the ocean and watch the stars. We been staying in Airbnb, vrbzo , many others for over a year and half. ( 25) Hands down. This is the best bc of the cleanliness , sparkles, all white, great amenities and the hosts are there for any questions or concerns. They will be there for you asap. When you call they always answer. Great hosts and I love to get to know people when we travel and they are so sincerely very helpful and great to talk too. ( Putting in a pool) I have to go back regardless but that's even more fun. It's very secure and gated. Never felt more safe. As a woman alone there. I felt extremely opposite. More safe than most places. Bikes are new and beach cruisers very cool. To ride around town. Close to everything. Perfect location. A must stay. U will definitely be happy there. It's new and exciting. They are so on top of it. It's only going to get better and better each time. It's already perfect. But, speaking with them. So exciting to hear from them all the other things they want to do. ( Yoga retreat) or yoga classes. I will be back asap.

Absolutely Perfect!
First, let me start by saying how much I love the hosts!!! Sarah and Gerzon are so amazing!!! Truly, I can now count them among my friends!!! They go overboard to make sure that your stay is perfect! It seems they have thought of everything. The unit is beautiful, spacious, well- equipped and immaculate. As a woman traveling alone, I felt completely safe. The units are not rented to those below age 25, so it is a tranquil oasis in a lovely neighborhood. Heading into town was easy via an easy stroll on the beach or a beautiful quick bike ride thru mangroves. The beach is a very quick stroll away - literally right there and accessible thru a charming jungle path. Snorkeling is available right from the beach. Gerzon is a dive instructor extraordinaire! You would be in good hands to go with him to explore the sea. This place is perfect for an individual traveling alone, a couple, a family, or a group - reunions, retreats, etc. I could not recommend this property more highly. Truly, I look forward to future stays!!!

Great Local Alternative to big Resorts
Let me begin by saying that Sarah and Gerzon are perfect owners/hosts!
Communication leading up to my arrival was frequent and comprehensive. Sarah responded swiftly to address any questions I had.
Once there, I found a quaint, fenced-in courtyard property with 4 condos. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Modern design.
I'm not posting pictures as mine look EXACTLY like those they have posted!
Easy walk to the beach...less than 5 minutes away (just watch the cars coming around 1 curve if you're walking)
Towels, beach chairs are provided by the owners for your use.
I was only in Puertos Morelos for a long weekend, but my stay at Aqua Guest House was lovely - I would definitely keep this as an option for future visits!!

Just steps from the beach - the best Puerto Moreles has to offer!
What can we say?! Our trip to Puerto Moreles was magic, and this lil condo played a big role. Immaculate, high quality linens, plush mattress, stylish suite and a kitchen! What more can you ask?! Except to be just a short 3min walk from the beach! This home was beautiful and oh so quiet! Sarah & Gerzon spent so much time with us, sharing their favourite places to eat, local events and places to snorkel. They were always quick to respond and super accommodating when we had questions. Some house rules help to ensure you will always have a quiet enclave at Casa Aqua! No renters under 25, limited occupancy to 2 adults per unit and 1 child under 18 and no outside guests. We appreciated that we could always count on this home-base being quiet and serene. We will be sharing Casa Aqua with our family and are working on planning our next trip! We’d give this stay 10 stars if we could!

Fresh, new unit offering excellent value.
We were one of the first to stay in this newest addition to the Puerto rental market and were we impressed! Our unit is 1 of 4 and was spacious and fresh. We are steps from the beach in this quiet neighborhood and coming and going to town was a snap as Sarah (the owner) arranged for rental bikes. The town is becoming quite popular and we found our unit was one of the best values to be found. Sarah was able to direct us to some great restaurants in town and in Colonia. She is a great source of local knowledge!
We will be sure to book early when we visit Puerto again.

Highly Recommend!
Just home from Aqua Guesthouse. I highly recommend this accomodation in Puerto Moreles. This little condo is very clean, fresh, and bright (but cooled by an airconditioner and or room fans). The beds are super comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for whatever tastey dish you intend to whip up. The owner/operators . . . amazingly kind, accomodating and helpful. I almost feel like I went to Mexico to meet a couple of the nicest people I have ever met. I give this place 5 stars!

Clean, Well Thought Out Spacious Apartment Minutes Walk from the Beach.
We had a great time at Aqua Guest House even though it was a brand new build with amazing king size bed, very quiet air conditioning, large bathrooms and all you need for a well stocked kitchen. The added touch of fresh water fountain was very much appreciated.
Once we got our bearings we enjoyed walks along the beach into Puerto Morelos.
2 - 3 minutes in a car or on a bike which was more fun. Groceries available at large new store. Everything you need.
Thank you Sarah and Gerzon we will defiantly be back to stay

Great brand new studio close to beach
The Aqua Guesthouse is a cheerful compound with four brand-new studio-sized apartments. It's just north of Puerto Morelos about 7 minutes from town by bike on a flat road. You can walk into town on the beach in about 1/2 hour. The beach itself is about a five minute walk. Nearby resorts maintain the shoreline and keep it free of seaweed in front of their places. The owners are an English/Spanish speaking couple who are very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you're happy. The units themselves are well equipped with great windows & blackout blinds, fans and excellent AC. Nice kitchen with bar stools, comfortable bathroom with good hot shower, fantastic king-sized bed and smart TV. Outdoor patio with table and two chairs. Very simple and comfortable and well designed. (Did I mention they are brand new? We were the first guest in our unit.) All in all a delightful stay. I'd revisit in a flash.

We are located just 20 minutes from the Cancun International Airport, conveniently located between Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Although we have officially been named a city in recent years, Puerto Morelos still maintains the charm of a small fishing village, where you can still see the fishermen come into the main pier in the afternoons with their daily catch. There are many shops, restaurants, and bars to be found around town. On Wednesdays, there is a fruit and vegetable market, along with homemade goods that sets up across from the church. In the evenings, you will likely stumble upon random performances taking place in the park and you will most definitely find many artisans selling their work.
Getting around
There are a few ways to get to the centre of town from our location. You can walk along the beach or road, rent a bicycle, take a taxi for about $3.00, or rent a car. If you want to adventure out of town to explore the Mayan Riviera on your own, you will need to rent a car, take a bus (the ADO) or a collectivo (transport vans). We are happy to explain how to navigate any of these options. Of course if you want to sit back and let someone else worry about where to go and how to get there, we can help you with booking tours to see the sights.
