Porthole Cottage is a family-run self-catering cottage in an enviable position approx half a mile from National Trust's Whitepark Bay on the Causeway Coastal Route, between Ballycastle and Bushmills. Just over a mile from Ballintoy Harbour, a much favoured beauty spot and a popular destination for Game of Thrones fans.
The cottage sleeps 4 adults in two bedrooms, one double, the other twin. A travel cot is available if required. The kitchen is well equipped with washing machine, tumble drier, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, electric oven and hob. The cottage has central heating from an Aga type stove in the kitchen/diner, and also has a wood burning stove in the lounge for cosy winter evenings. Stove is set and basket of logs/turf provided to get fire going.
Flat screen TV with DVD player and radio. Wifi new for 2017.

About the neighborhood
Porthole Cottage is set in farmland just off the Antrim Coastal Route less than one mile from the beautiful sandy beach at Whitepark Bay (ASSI). Guests have described it as an excellent base for visiting all the attractions of the area - Bushmills, Giant's Causeway, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, Ballycastle, Dunseverick, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy, Portrush and Portstewart. The area is home to many excellent Golf courses - Royal Portrush, Ballycastle, Castlerock, and Ballyliffen. This year the Irish Open is taking being held at Ballyliffen in Donegal and in 2019 it will be held at Portrush. Book early to secure your accommodation for the NW200 in 2019.
Getting around
We are in a rural environment so we recommend having your own transport.
The Causeway Rambler (a small bus) runs along the Causeway Coastal Route stopping at many of the local beauty spots.
