Beverages
We provide Water, Honduran coffee, juice and tea. We do not have a cash bar.
Optional Alcohol Package – $65 per person per day. Sold as a group package only. Arrange and pay at least 2 weeks prior to your stay.
Includes: soda, mixers, local beer, house wine and house alcohol (vodka, rum, tequila, gin and whiskey). Given our remote location, we cannot accommodate special alcohol requests, but you can add champagne for $25 a bottle.
If you purchase the Alcohol Package your group will have access the bar at any time and we will keep it stocked with everything you will need for the alcohol package. We provide a bartender during from 4:30-6:30pm. The bar is self-serve the rest of the time.
Optional Non-alcohol Beverage Package - $30 per person per day. Not sold as an individual for children or adults. Arrange and pay at least 2 weeks prior to your stay.

Stock Your Own Bar - If you choose not to purchase optional beverage packages you can stop and pick up what you need on your way from the airport to FMC. There is a refrigerator for guests in the bar and your group will have access to the self-serve bar at any time.
Tipping
Our hardworking staff really appreciate your tips and depend on them to support their families. A minimum tip of 15% of your bill for the rooms and services provided by Fort Morgan Cay and our staff is required. This tip is divided equally between our 8 local Honduran staff. You can pay your tip with cash or credit card at the end of your stay. (a 3.5% banking fee will be added to all credit card charges. Outside vendor services such as airport transportation, massage, Tiki boat tour, catamaran tour, scuba diving, sand sculpture/fire dancer tips can be paid directly to the vendor by the guests.

We gathered 10 of our closest friends and ventured out to the island of Fort Morgan Cay. What a great surprise!! We spend 5 days on the island and loved every minute. It was very well kept, the staff was lovely, and it truly felt like a get away. We ate wonderful food, created the best memories and truly relaxed. I would recommend to anyone that is okay getting away from the A/C for a few nights and truly being in nature with the joys of an ocean breeze. Mark and Julie were the best hosts and made us feel very comfortable and welcome the whole time. Its been almost a year since we have been there but I can't wait to get back one day!

Paradise, family style ❤️
Never ending fun on and off the island. Rooms are so comfortable to sleep in after a FULL day of amazing activities. We had our 8 and 5 year old boys there and this is all the fun they (we!) had:
Snorkeling among ship wrecks
Snorkeling among sharks and exotic fish
Treasure hunt hosted by Mark and Julie (kept the kids busy for HOURS!)
Crab races after dark (go team sunroof!)
Laser tag- morning noon and night
Hammocks when we wanted to chill
Never ending supply of cookies
Private beach picnic from heaven- now I need to learn how to make pasalitos
FIRE DANCERS that blew our minds!!

The ultimate Fam-Glam Vacation!
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family trip (11 of us, age range 5-73) to Fort Morgan Cay! Julie and Mark were the best! And, the staff at Fort Morgan Cay is amazing! Besides the beauty of Ft. Morgan, we loved the variety of activities: snorkeling with sharks, snorkeling over a ship-wreck, scavenging for jade, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, lounging in the hammocks hung by the palm trees, boating through the mangroves, treasure hunt, crab races, celebrating our anniversary with a steak/lobster feast on the beach on New Year's Eve, and dining on authentic and delicious Honduran food throughout our stay. Memories for a lifetime!✩✩✩✩✩

Paradise Island with activities galore!
Mark and Julie along with their wonderful staff create the ultimate private island experience. We were in the island for a friends birthday and couldn’t have asked for more. The food was spectacular and we had every activity at our fingertips. The night of the party we had a sand sculpture, fire dancers that put on a fantastic show, and dinner on the beach that was unmatched by any dinner we have ever had.
We spent time snorkeling in several locations straight off the island on some of the best reefs in the world. Jake and Julie took us fishing and we caught black fin tuna that Daneli and her staff prepped for sashimi when we got back for dinner! We can’t say enough about the attention to detail and all the planning by the staff that went into making this an unforgettable experience. Belly rubs to Sarge, Tomba and Aksel… the friendliest island doggies!!

Paradise
We just got back from a stay at the beautiful private island of Fort Morgan Cay. We had such an amazing time with great friends and the most wonderful staff. Every meal was incredible including a beach dinner with simply amazing fire dancers for entertainment. Just WOW! The rooms were so comfortable with awesome views and breezes. Our hosts Julie and Mark were so amazing, providing us with so many options of entertainment. Best snorkeling trip ever. Thanks so much Julie, Mark, and all the staff for the best vacation ever.

Destination Birthday Bash
I just returned from a spectacular visit at Fort Morgan Cay. The island is breathtaking and the resort exceeded our expectations. The crystal clear blue water, soft white sand beaches and access to some amazing snorkeling was a highlight!! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great views and cool Caribbean breezes. The staff goes above and beyond every day to make sure you have everything you need. The meals, especially the birthday dinner on the beach, were excellent. We were treated to a sand sculpture and fire dancers while dinning under the stars. Paddle boarding through the mangroves and enjoying nature daily was so relaxing. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this unique gem in Roatan. Top notch accommodations, staff and location!! We will definitely be back!

Shangri-la is real!
Mark and Julie are Fantastic hosts!
My group & I had an astoundingly great time on Fort Morgan Cay that exceeded our expectations and more. I cannot say enough great things about the waters, beaches, food & snorkeling! From the moment we arrived until we left Mark, Julie & the staff’s hospitality was unmatched. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the environment and weather, which contributed to thoughtful planning of our daily excursions and activities on the island. The meals were made of all local and in-season ingredients that were fresh and amazing. We loved not having to plan any dinners, make restaurant reservations and dining at a different spot on the island every night!
The water was some of the most beautiful I ever seen and going to a new incredible snorkeling spot every morning was such a treat and very easy to get used to!
The staff coupled with the gorgeous island and sea made this the best vacation we have ever had! This is a truly private island experience and we could not have picked a better place to relax and de-stress after a very stressful two years. Thank you, Mark & Julie!
I must also express deep thanks and gratitude to the lovely Sherna, Denali, Angel, Alba, Jenny, Raneel, Barron, Carlos and Jake! And let’s not forget Marvin our driver!

One of a kind tropical paradise
The entire staff at Fort Morgan Cay make this destination extra special. The accommodations are inviting, relaxing and very comfortable. The food is Honduran and tasty as can be. Fresh fish, chicken, coconut shrimp, conch chowder, desserts every night. And a different special setting for every meal too,
Snorkeled everyday and saw incredible creatures, shipwrecks, fan coral.
The staff is knowledgeable about every aspect of the island. And they’re fun to be around.
Definitely a winner!

Honestly Amazing, Do Yourself a Favor and Book It
This place is amazing, great staff, incredible location and fantastic hospitality. Booked for a business retreat and they went above and beyond to meet our requests. Fireworks, sand sculptures and fire dancers are a must. Don't think twice, just book it.

Real life Post Card
An absolute once in a life time trip. Mark and Julie were so kind and welcoming. Made us all feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. Jake was our fishing guide and was the coolest dude! We can’t wait to get back. And bring our friends because our pictures look like we just googled “island paradise” and they don’t believe we actually took them. Seriously, you can’t take a bad pic on the island. It was all a dream! Can’t say enough. It was AMAZING!

Fort Morgan Cay is located in Port Royal on the unspoiled Eastern end of Roatan. The bay is nestled between a national park with excellent hiking and a stunning mangrove marine reserve. The area is known for its long history of pirates whose forts and ship wrecks you can explore from our Cay. Our guests frequently find 'pirate glass', pieces of broken rum bottles from the time of Blackbeard and even cannonballs and spy glasses.
Getting around
Having your own private island can be an adventure! And we have you covered. Our boats are available for charters including crew. When you want to go on your own exciting adventure, the snorkel gear, kayaks, catamaran and SUPs are yours to enjoy and complimentary with your stay.

You will fly to airport code RTB the airport on the island of Roatan. The FMC dock is located 1 1/2-hour drive from the RTB airport. We will pick you up by boat at the FMC dock in Port Royal. Upon departure from FMC, we will transport you by boat back to the FMC dock at Port Royal on the island of Roatan.
