A vacation I will never forget
The experience on Fort Morgan Cay was incredibly special. The island is beautiful with gorgeous, white sand secluded beaches. The meals were delicious and staff served dinners on different parts of the island each night which was so fun and a great way to experience all the areas of the island.

TRIP OF A LIFETIME
TRIP OF A LIFETIME! WOW! Just WOW! What can I say about Fort Morgan Cay, Islas de las Bahía and Mark & Julie that has not already been said? The island is breathtaking! Exactly like the photos but better! The staff is A+! The food was fresh & delicious! Mark was our host as Julie was sick during our stay in Feb 2024 and I feel like we made a lifetime friend even though we will probably never see him again, lol. His service did not skip a beat. He was extremely communicative prior to and during the trip. We always knew what to expect and were well informed. We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here and I paid for almost ALL of the extras...sand sculpture, fire dancers, fireworks, snorkeling at Pigeon Cay, tour of local villages and mangroves, day tour of Roatan...Trust me it's worth it! A VACATION OF A LIFETIME.
A VACATION OF A LIFETIME. I am struggling to find the words to describe our life changing experience on Fort Morgan Cay. 13 of us from Wisconsin flew to Roatan, hopped on a van and then a boat, to the private island where we were greeted by Mark (our host) and his friendly, attentive, helpful, beautiful, talented staff. We ate 3 delicious meals each day in different places across the ~30 acre island. We swam, snorkeled, paddle boarded, kayaked, fished, relaxed, exercised, connected, danced, did karaoke, played card games, posed for photos, hiked, celebrated NYE and my 50th birthday. We had a raucous hermit crab race. We spent one day in Roatan with a tour guide visiting sloths, a local restaurant, and the Roatan Brewery. We fell in love with the two island dogs, Sarge and Axel. We cried on our boatride back to Roatan because we did not want to leave. If you are considering a visit to Roatan with a semi-large group, I would encourage you to book a stay on Fort Morgan Cay.

Experience of a lifetime!
Our group spent a week at FMC to celebrate a milestone birthday. Mark, Julie & the FMC staff (Berron, Carlos, Renil, Jake, Thaish, Danelly, Jenny & Pinkey) were absolutely the most thoughtful and accommodating people. We spent the week having amazing meals, adventures, learning the culture, and enjoying our own private island! We learned about sea turtle rescue and conservation efforts, floated in a natural lazy river, snorkeled, fished, kayaked, played games and swam to our hearts content. While they could easily serve every meal in one spot, part of the FMC experience is that they move dinner to a new location every day. We absolutely loved this and trust me, it’s a lot of work to move the dining table that seats 14 around the island! One thing to remember is that this is a tropical island off a tropical island off the mainland of Honduras in Central America. Yes, there will be mosquitoes. Yes, there will be no-see-ums. Bring lots of bug spray with Deet or Picardin and while you may still get a bite or two, it won’t be terrible. Going with the expectation that there will not be bugs would be like diving into the ocean and expecting not to get wet - (unreasonably unrealistic). We did not experience sand fleas on the beach, though the occasional crab made an appearance. This is a beautiful, unspoiled, uncomplicated island where you can unwind, breathe, relax, and make the best memories with your friends, family and the best people in hospitality I’ve ever experienced while traveling. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay another week (or forever!) Go and have an experience of a lifetime!

Best Getaway Ever!
We gathered 10 of our closest friends and ventured out to the island of Fort Morgan Cay. What a great surprise!! We spend 5 days on the island and loved every minute. It was very well kept, the staff was lovely, and it truly felt like a get away. We ate wonderful food, created the best memories and truly relaxed. I would recommend to anyone that is okay getting away from the A/C for a few nights and truly being in nature with the joys of an ocean breeze. Mark and Julie were the best hosts and made us feel very comfortable and welcome the whole time. Its been almost a year since we have been there but I can't wait to get back one day!

Paradise, family style ❤️
Never ending fun on and off the island. Rooms are so comfortable to sleep in after a FULL day of amazing activities. We had our 8 and 5 year old boys there and this is all the fun they (we!) had: Snorkeling among ship wrecks Snorkeling among sharks and exotic fish Treasure hunt hosted by Mark and Julie (kept the kids busy for HOURS!) Crab races after dark (go team sunroof!) Laser tag- morning noon and night Hammocks when we wanted to chill Never ending supply of cookies Private beach picnic from heaven- now I need to learn how to make pasalitos FIRE DANCERS that blew our minds!! Sandcastle building on the beach Shell hunting on the beach FISHING (caught a barracuda and then fried it up for a snack the next day!!) Watching kite sailing Hiking the island and finding so many of nature’s treasures Snuggling the island’s sweet sweet dogs (and sneaking them some table scraps….shhh) Board games to enjoy during down time Turtle sanctuary!!! Holding sloths and monkeys!!!! ZIP LINING!!! Open bar Massages (for the adults, let’s be real traveling with kids is exhausting) The absolute BEST food ever (my kids ate more there than at home!!) Dinner each night at a different spot on the island! Wildly awesome boat rides with CAPTAIN CARLOS! Finding natural jade stones on Jade Beach Swimming in crystal clear aqua water Stopping for ice cream after a neighborhood boat tour! Telling pirate stories and imagining the evil crocodile guarding pirate treasure (my 5 yo is still determined to go back and find it) Sneaking up on black iguanas Paddle boarding and kayaking (which also kept the kids busy every single day!!) Barefoot walks on soft sand beaches Watching the sun set every night Rainbows in the morning Exploring the whole island (endless!) Catching the ever elusive geckos Lunch in town! Soothing rainfall (only at night, nature’s white noise!!) Swimming in the pool nonstop Full moons and stargazing, shooting stars to make wishes on (wish we could go back!) The sweetest staff in the world (that we‘ll stay friends with!) Can’t recommend this trip enough. Once in a lifetime experience 💕💕

The ultimate Fam-Glam Vacation!
We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with a family trip (11 of us, age range 5-73) to Fort Morgan Cay! Julie and Mark were the best! And, the staff at Fort Morgan Cay is amazing! Besides the beauty of Ft. Morgan, we loved the variety of activities: snorkeling with sharks, snorkeling over a ship-wreck, scavenging for jade, swimming, kayaking, paddle-boarding, lounging in the hammocks hung by the palm trees, boating through the mangroves, treasure hunt, crab races, celebrating our anniversary with a steak/lobster feast on the beach on New Year's Eve, and dining on authentic and delicious Honduran food throughout our stay. Memories for a lifetime!✩✩✩✩✩

Paradise Island with activities galore!
Mark and Julie along with their wonderful staff create the ultimate private island experience. We were in the island for a friends birthday and couldn’t have asked for more. The food was spectacular and we had every activity at our fingertips. The night of the party we had a sand sculpture, fire dancers that put on a fantastic show, and dinner on the beach that was unmatched by any dinner we have ever had. We spent time snorkeling in several locations straight off the island on some of the best reefs in the world. Jake and Julie took us fishing and we caught black fin tuna that Daneli and her staff prepped for sashimi when we got back for dinner! We can’t say enough about the attention to detail and all the planning by the staff that went into making this an unforgettable experience. Belly rubs to Sarge, Tomba and Aksel… the friendliest island doggies!!
