Crowsnest II is located at the south end of the Platinum Coast of Barbados (just south of St James), 30ft from the sea and with a unique 180 degree view of its longest beach.
Built in 2006, this 5,000 sq ft (465 sq m) beach-house occupies the top 2 stories of the 3 story building. Finished entirely in hardwood and natural stones it features 5 air-conditioned bedrooms and 4 bathrooms on the 1st floor, with the living area above, where it catches the breeze. The open plan 'penthouse' living area features two 'lounges', a 14 seat dining table, a barbecue area, bar, library, a further toilet and shower and a 30ft heated rooftop pool and wet bar, all arranged around a central open plan kitchen.

Excellent location, beautiful open air kitchen, dining and common space. Beds can be configured as singles or as queens depending on the needs of your group. Housekeeper who cleans and does laundry. Stunning views and lovely beach.

Stunning! Great location
I visited Crowsnest in winter recently. It is Directly on the beach/beach front property. Very spacious and clean, exactly as advertised. The property is steps from the ocean on a clean and quiet stretch of beach. Very close to grocery/restaurants. We spent a lot of time in the outdoor lounge area. We felt very safe here and is a perfect space for a family or friends getaway. Will definitely be back!

Crows Nest is perfect!
My family (of 5) and our friends family (4 Adults and 4 children) stayed for 2 weeks in 2016 (last week of July and first week of August).
We couldn’t have been happier.
The “private” location made us feel like we had our own private beach, beautiful views from the house, plenty of space. We felt safe, people were fantastic and our housemaid was awesome.
It really is a diamond find and my children loved the option of the pool and beach.
If we could, I’d stay with our family 1-2 per year. It’s worth a repeat visit.

Stunning beachfront with gorgeous views!
Our group was in Barbados for a paddleboard adventure, and staying at this house made for a dream adventure vacation! We could paddle right out front along the coastline to different points on the West Coat which was stunning. One of our favorites was paddling from the house to La Cabane restaurant and back. We did yoga on the beach every morning right out front of the house. The view from the kitchen/lounge area made meals and hanging out very relaxing. Staying at this house is good for the soul! Added bonuses were laundry service and nesspresso machine!

3 weeks in Paradise
where do we start, however I try and describe it I cannot do justice to your first impressions of this spectacular home. we were a group of 10 adults who stayed in the Crowsnest for 3 weeks. enjoying the privacy of the beach, the convenience of the location to shops and Bridgetown itself. but most of all the fantastic design of the top floor which provides one of the most socially functional rooms which I have ever seen.
the pool which is external at the back leads into the cocktail bar and large seating area, this to then merges in to the kitchen and then onto the dining area with additional sofa seating.
finally the BBQ area front right which allows you to via the open balcony to see the amazing seafront views. these are particular spectacular at sunset which occurs immediately in front of the villa.
the organisation of the whole team who run the Crowsnest is first class, Andy who heads up the management of the property provides clear and very accurate communication which provides a reassurance when travelling so far. we were met upon arrival by Susan the Island property manager and again her communication and service were exemplary. a very special mention needs to go Maureen our housekeeper what a star! her diligence and hard work were greatly appreciated by us all and she assisted us with anything we required locally.
finally we were recommended a chef (Judy) by the Susan, we used her services on 6 occasions and her expertise and service was absolutely stunning, the meals she prepared were some of the best I have eaten anywhere. if you looking for a relaxing, stress free environment to enjoy with your family or close friends I think you would be hard pressed to find somewhere better than the Crowsnest.
I know we cant wait to get back there as soon as possible and I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy a taste of paradise.

Perfect Family Vacation Property
We chose Crows Nest after looking at many other rental properties on the island for a family Christmas vacation. It proved to be an inspired choice as the design, amenities, and location of the property all contributed to a memorable trip for everyone.
The open plan upper deck, with the sea view, and the various seating areas, is very conducive to having fun together. The bedroom floor is cool and spacious and gives everyone a place to relax in private.
The amenities are also terrific. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare family meals, We made a lot of use of the bar (and restocked it of course) and the pool.
If you are looking for a wild, remote spot, this not the place for you. It is as close to Bridgetown as you can get ... and be on a beautiful, mostly deserted, beach. Crows Nest has a great view of the cruise ship port, just along the coast. Watching the huge cruise ships coming and going, provided daily interest for us and the arrival of the Queen Mary 2 was especially memorable.
Finally, the staff were very friendly and attentive and kept everywhere clean and tidy
All in all, Crows Nest is a wonderful spot with everything you need for a great family vacation. Just add rum .. Mount Gay of course.

Fantastic Beach house
A group of 5 couples enjoyed an amazing week! We spent most of our time on the open concept top floor which had incredible living space and a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea. We enjoyed swimming in the warm calm water and loved having the beach at our doorstep. There was no seaweed and few rocks at the beach. The honesty bar and "pay it forward" concept is wonderfully executed and most appreciated. Judy and Nadia cooked us breakfast and dinner everyday and shopped for all our groceries. Walked to Mount Gay for rum tasting tour, always felt safe. Highly recommend and hope to return one day.

Vacation in Paradise
We've been vacationing in Barbados for a decade and have seen most of the island, but the beach at Crowsnest II is the about the best! Add to that a spacious, luxurious villa with all the conveniences of home, an attentive housekeeper, and an outdoor living area with views of the Caribbean in every direction and what Crowsnest offers is the perfect vacation! We highly recommend it!

Best of times at Crowsnest
Great property - fabulous living space on top floor with rooftop pool.
Don't be fooled by the slightly austere exterior - the interior is what you live in and it is extremely well laid out for a large group holiday - and the views and access to beach are as good as it gets.
This is slightly south of the "Gold Coast" strip - but is far more individual - far greater living space for the same money - wholeheartedly recommend.
The "honesty system" for bar and supplies is very refreshing - you just try to leave more than you take and it saves on time having to stock up every single item.
If you don't fancy cooking - but want good value - Chef Judy was top-rate - would recommend.
Great stay - great property - thanks to all for arranging - especially Susan for making sure everything ran smoothly once we were there.

Crowsnest is located on Brighton Beach, 2.5 miles North of Bridgetown and 3.5 miles South of Sandy Lane. Kensington Oval is walking distance and, being 4.5 miles from both Holetown and St Lawrence, the beach-house is equidistant between both the major restaurant and nightlife areas on the island.
At over 1.2 miles Brighton Beach is the longest on the Platinum Coast and when put together with Paradise Beach (where prestigious Four Seasons Resort is under construction) provides almost 2 miles of uninterrupted powder soft sand. It is the largest turtle hatchery on the island and turtles are often seen laying eggs, hatching and swimming in the surrounding waters.
Being set back 200yds from the main road, Crowsnest does not experience the road noise suffered by most West Coast villas and because Brighton Beach is a mainly residential beach, with no hotels or apartment blocks and only a handful of properties available for holiday rental, the beach itself is almost deserted for the majority of the day/week. The water is usually calm and clear, and swimming is safe with negligible current, and a gentle slope to the sand.
Watersports are available to the north of the beach and there is a beach bar/restaurant (Weisers) 200 yds south. The nearest supermarket is half a mile behind Crowsnest, but we are not on a bus route (the nearest bus stop is at the Supermarket).
