Explanation of pool heat; we have installed two systems of pool heat for your comfort and convenience. 1) Solar, this is always on and is complementary. 2) Electric heat exchange. This is an optional extra, and chargeable. (Recommended from October to April) If you choose to have the pool heated by electric heat exchange, you only need to advise the host of your request. As TripAdvisor group of sites do not have the facility to add the cost of optional extras the cost is charged separately to TripAdvisor billing. The host will invite you to pay via a separate PayPal request. Notes on chargeable extras; Pool heat is an additional service offered by the homeowner for your enjoyment at a set price. Brilliant stay at Villa Bonita
Enjoyed a brilliant 8 nights at Villa Bonita, roughly an hours walk or a short taxi ride to the marina - and the weather was very kind to us for February! Lynda the host met us and pre set up cots for our 2 toddlers and was on hand for any queries we had. Brilliant spacious villa and grounds ideal for young families, but equally enjoyed by adults too! The heated pool came at an additional cost of €30 per day and the whilst it did warm up it took several days to get there, the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, as I think this could be more clear! Overall would definitely recommend and return!

Tolles Haus
Das Haus hat uns grundsätzlich sehr gut gefallen. Das gesamte Grundstück und der Pool ist wunderschön. Die Betten sind leider alle sehr hart im gesamten Haus. Die Bäder, die auf den Fotos sehr schick ausschauen, sind im wahren Leben leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ansonsten ist das Haus in einem sehr guten, gepflegten Zustand. Es gab Ende Oktober schon sehr kalte Abende, so dass wir sehr froh darüber waren, dass es kleine Elektroheizer gab. Bei diesen Temperaturen nützt dann auch die Poolheizung nichts, also alles unter 20 Grad Tagestemperatur schafft sie nicht. Das Geld kann man sich sparen.

Spacious Villa, ideal for a family group
Booked Vila Bonita for 14 nights. The group changed slightly each week.We had 4 adults and 3 teens week one and 3 adults and 4 teens week 2. The Vila has plenty of communal space for dining and relaxing. The pool and the gardens are so impressive and perfect for hanging out as a group. We bought some cool inflatables which were so much fun for the time we spent at the pool. The nights that we chose to stay in we had a big family meal cooked on the outdoor charcoal BBQ. We dined in the indoor/outdoor glass room which is perfect when you want to enjoy the beautiful garden lighting. Later on in the evenings we pulled the sliding doors over to keep any bugs out. However there was no issue with Mosquitos what so ever. We hired two cars for the group and found this to be a great solution. We know the Vilamoura Area well and have been coming here since 2014. We spent some time in Vilamoura, sometime in Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo also. We did all out shopping in Contininte and Pingo Doce locally. We really enjoyed the stay and would recommend the Vila.

Beautiful Villa
Took 3 children under 6 and our parents to stay. The garden and the pool are stunning and great for the kids. House very spacious, modern compared to many we looked at, clean and lots of home comforts like CBeebies, a dishwasher and espresso machine! We didn't hire a car and used taxis almost everyday bt they were on time and not expensive. Vilamoura was beautiful - found enough to do with the kids and some beautiful restaurants. A favourite was Parilla Natural around 15 euros in a taxi away. Some of the restaurants deliver too which we found very useful as the nearest spa was limited and we weren't always organised enough to have meals in! Lynda was there to meet us and helped us with any questions we had about our stay and the area. All in all a well located, well maintained and beautiful villa that we would love to come back to.

Absolutely superb.
We have just returned from a weeks holiday in this amazing villa. We were welcomed by Lynda who was so helpful and gave us some very useful information, shopping restaurants etc, a car was recommended however we had a great taxi who took us everywhere we wanted to go at little cost, the villa is so relaxing and peaceful and impeccably presented, pool was a great size and a huge garden. I have nothing but praise for this villa and absolutely cannot wait to go back.

Amazing Villa
I do not normally write reviews but felt I had to this time. We stayed here with 5 friends to celebrate a special birthday and could not have asked for anything better. The villia is so spacious and clean and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Linda who is the local representative was very pleasent and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend Browns bar located not too far away. Food was superb. Excellent service off the local taxi company Ellite Travel who took us everywhere, even to the local supermaket and waited while we shopped. Would definitely like to return here one day. Have been very spoilt with this villa. Its fantasic.

Family of 6 adults & 1 infant under 1 traveled 1st week May. Transfer time less than 30mins with Hoppa. Greeted by host (Lynda) who guided us through villa, amenities & local attractions. Cot bed, high chairs (x2) available & in good condition. Pool was not heated as expected upon arrival but this was soon sorted and worked a treat for our grandaughter to enjoy. Upstairs balcony not available but we would not have used it anyway. Gardens & pool absolutely massive and very well maintained, the fresh lemons are amazing! Good quality sun loungers & plenty of outdoor furniture. Pool was large & clean, roll out cover and nets available. There was no outdoor shower head, slide or diving board as in images but again it didn't effect a very good villa experience. High security gates & very private. Fully working kitchen with everything you need for indoor & outdoor dining. Beds comfortable with duvets and cotton sheets, clean towels and plenty full in all bathrooms. Only one toilet roll per bathroom so add it to your shopping list.... Located in a very quite area, it's so peaceful and relaxing. Bins are a few minutes walk away as they're not kept on site. Browns Sports Bar is a 5 minute walk and highly recommended for food and drinks. There's a couple of other restaurants within walking distance we tried Baz & Paula's and also a Portugese (can't remember name sorry) but they didn't meet Browns quality. The nearest shop is a good walk! We used taxis for our 'big' shop then walked to Spar for our bread. If sauntering it was about an hour round trip. We didn't hire a car but owner was helpful when we enquired. Villamoura marina is stunning and took us about 1h 15 to walk at a leisurely pace, it's a nice flat walk. Taxi back was €9 Overall this villa is exactly what we wanted. We had a fabulous holiday at Villa Bonita. We was impressed by the host Lynda who went the extra mile to help us print boarding passes. The villa is clean & peaceful in a good quite location. Exactly as we wanted a relaxing break with nice walks. It's good standard accommodation with heating, fans & a/c for all weather eventualities. Our family would definitely return to Villa Bonita.

Great villa - perfect group/family stay!
We were a group of 6 and stayed in Villa Bonita for a week in April. We were met by the agent who showed us around and helped us to get our bearings on the map. She was more than helpful and very friendly. The Villa itself had 4 good sized bedrooms, a large lounge with a bar area, kitchen, dining room and a great pool! We spent most of our time outside as the weather was great and the garden was huge. Enough space to place frisbee and cricket! The pool was heated (on request) and was where we spent most afternoons. The villa is in a good location and about a 10 min drive away from vilamoura where there are shops, bars & restaurants etc and 20 mins from Vale Do Lobo (fancier bars/restaurants). A taxi to vilamoura was approx 10€ and about 23€ to Vale Do Lobo. The only things that could be better (I'm being very picky with this) is the pool had no net so we couldn't really clean the leaves out. Also the sun loungers around the pool were on their last legs. 1 of them completely broke and another 2 very uncomfortable due to the fabric being so worn and ripped. However I would highly recommend this villa, it was clean, modern, in a great location with a super pool!

Thank you for your review. We improve the villa each season based on the reviews and requests of our guests. We have added extra Kitchen equipment. Including a full collection of unbreakable outdoor dining place settings, suitable for Children and garden and pool area use. New Pool furniture ; replaced each year. Replaced in May (02) 2015 We have also added a full garden room for the 2015 season ( completed May 2015). I hope to have you back to visit soon. best regards Ralph
