Welcome to Hotel Sonnleitn! This 3 star hotel in chalet style is owned and run by a Dutch couple who both have a passion for skiing, cycling and walking.
The atmosphere at Hotel Sonnleitn is warm, welcoming and informal. We have a good choice of spacious single, double, triple and quadruple rooms, all of which are en-suite, with satellite TV and most have a balcony with fabulous views of the ski slopes and Italian Carnic Alps.

Very friendly
Great place, brilliant food and amazing host's. Ski pass and ski rental all organized in advance. Ski bus is a 5 min walk

A great place; friendly staff, easy access to the slopes
Lisa and Dennis were friendly and very helpful - they made our stay very enjoyable and stress-free. They were happy to help with any of our questions, helped us arrange trips, ski hire, lift passes, everything really. Food was excellent and the staff also very friendly (thanks Frank and Dion). Very comfortable rooms and a high-standard Pension / Chalet. Easy bus transfer to the slopes; the chalet is in a quiet location so don't expect a nightclub nearby....

Goede uitvalslocatie voor het ontdekken van Karinthie, en trips naar Slovenie en Italie
Eenvoudig Hotel-Pension, wat gerund wordt door enthousiaste jonge mensen, die open staan voor positieve feed-back. Het gemis aan horecaervaring is te merken, maar hier wordt aan gewerkt. De kamers zijn gedateerd, matrassen zijn duidelijk aan vervanging toe, de douches zijn goed maar een up-grade zou mogen (thermostaatkraan.) Bij klachten / verbeterpunten staan de eigenaars klaar met een oplossing. Culinair zou het allemaal beter mogen, wellicht dat het meelopen met een ervaren hotelkok of een training hoe een gevarieerd drie-gangen menu samen te stellen met een beperkt budget een mogelijkheid is. Dit is besproken met de eigenaren. Daar wij er waren aan het einde van het zomerseizoen viel het duidelijk te merken dat de eigenaren moe waren, maar toch hun uiterste best deden om het plezierig te houden. Kortom als je sinds twee jaar hard aan het werk bent om je droom te verwezenlijken, dan zal er nog veel water door de Drau moeten stromen, maar ze zijn op de goede weg. Ongeacht de beoordelingen van een zomergast, kan deze goudmijn zeker in de winter een hele goede locatie zijn voor de wintersport, daar het vlakbij de ski-pistes ligt.

Hotel tranquilo en un entorno espectacular
Avisamos a Lisa y Dennis que llegariamos de madrugada y nos dejaron todo listo sin problemas... las llaves esperandonos en la recepcion y la puerta abierta. Muy buena comunicacion con ellos via e-mail.
La habitacion era muy amplia y estaba totalmente limpia, sin lujos pero bien equipada... tv, secador, terraza con buenas vistas y baño completo... por poner una pega podríamos decir que hechamos en falta el detalle del gel y champú, ya que viajamos en avion y no llevamos los nuestros.
Teniamos incluido el desayuno, de tipo buffet, muy correcto, variedad de panes, fiambres, queso, cereales, yogures, mantequilla, mermeladas, zumos e infusiones... sin lujos pero nos sorprendio gratamente, ademas el salon donde se toma es muy bonito, con vistas a la montaña.
El trato de Lisa y Dennis es muy bueno, se esmeran con el cliente sin molestar, subes de desayunar y ya tienes la habitacion lista.
Bajo peticion es posible tener mas régimen de comida durante la estancia.
Muy recomendable.

Great place, homely atmosphere and wonderful host
We had a lovely time last year. Dennis and Lisa & girls were very easy going and seemed eager to help.
One of the day's my wife wasn't feeling well and could not come down for food, so they offered her some food in the room, which was very kind.
All in all great people and great place!

Heel fijn hotel voor een wintersportvakantie of in de zomer!
Gezellig hotel met fijne grote kamers die een super mooi uitzicht hebben op de bergen. De eigenaars zijn heel gastvrij. Wij zijn twee keer in dit hotel geweest. Een keer in de zomer en een keer in het wintersportseizoen. Het is ideaal gelegen voor het skiën en andere activiteiten (meren, waterspeeltuin, fietsen, wandelen). De eigenaars weten veel van het gebied en kunnen goede tips geven. Lekker ontbijtje en avondeten.

Lovely Hotel which is run by a great family!
My husband and I travelled to Austria last June with our one year old daughter. We loved staying at Hotel Sonnleitn. The family who owns the hotel is a great young couple with two children of there own. They gave us great advise on where to go with our daughter. Breakfast and dinner were great. Our daughter eat everything they made. Our room was nice and spacious. Highly recommendable
