ENGLISH The apartment is set in one of the most famous pieces of coastline in Sicily, whose popularity has incredibly grown thanks to the Rai series Inspector Montalbano, broadcasted also by BBC. The apartment, like Montalbano's sea-side house, is located in the heart of Punta Secca, renamed 'Marinella' in the fiction. It is a picturesque fishing hamlet with preserved sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. The village skyline sports a lighthouse, a small port and a16th century watchtower, framed by wonderful sunsets on the Mediterranean sea: a stunning view that leaves speechless. The apartment is on the first floor, elegantly furnished, with all the comforts, cooling and heating system, WIFI, TV, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine. Two double bedrooms, two bathroom, large and cozy open living room and kitchen space. There are walk-out balconies and a large terrace. All the lodgings, besides enjoying the privileged closeness to still untouched beaches, are in the middle of a territory whose artistic and cultural heritage is of very high level. We will be happy to help you plan fantastic excursions and, why not, to go with you on tours of the historic centers of Ragusa province. We look forward to having you as our guests and we ensure you a holiday you will never forget surrounded by art, nature, excellent food and a warm welcome. Felice e Antonella More

About the neighborhood
ENGLISH Punta Secca is the ideal place to discover all the surrounding attractions: southeastern Sicily, in fact, where most of the series scenes were filmed, is renowned for its architecturally appealing Baroque towns (listed by UNESCO as heritage sites). Tourists can discover, right at hand, the ancient city of Ragusa Ibla which, among its famous buildings and balconies, offers gastronomic specialties like ice cream made from wines; the town of Modica, which has maintained some of the most beautiful architecture in Sicily and is also known for the art of chocolate, or Noto with its wonderful cathedral and Scicli with an astonishing number of churches. Only 15 minutes away there's a real delight for golf-lovers: the Donnafugata two championship golf-courses which nestle among t...
