Old and new in perfect harmony. Renovated part of an old Nordland house from about 1890 with visible timber interior, new modern kitchen and bathroom. 3 bedrooms. New part with large windows and spectacular views of mountains and sea.

The space
'Gammelstua' is located in Straumnes in Rolvsfjord, 20 meters from the shoreline. Renovated/newly built in 2016. The plot sheltered, with an idyllic location facing south-west. Rolvsfjord is located in the middle of Lofoten, south on Vestvågøy and it is close to the airport (LKN) and coastal port of call. About the neighborhood
Many guests appreciate the central location when you want to discover the lofoten Islands. It is practically placed in the middle of Lofoten. But also the guest like the feeling of having the whole fjord for themselves. From the big panaroma windows in the living room you are both able to see the northern light as well as the rich animal life like seaeagles, seals, otters, Foxes etc.
