Very accommodating hosts and good value accommodation. Only comment is that the location is not in Stanwell Park as advertised. Whilst close and only 10 minutes away in car - the advert should indicate the accommodation is in Austinmer.

We stayed mid week with our 7 week old baby and it was the perfect getaway. Where else can you relax on the couch in the lounge room and watch the waves crash onto the sandy beach? The owners were very accommodating and friendly. We'll definitely be coming back!

About the neighborhood
Austinmer is a coastal village about 1 hour by road or rail south of Sydney, 20 minutes north of Wollongong and only 10 minutes south of Sea Cliff Bridge on the Grand Pacific Drive. It has outstanding beaches, and a breathtaking, tree-covered escarpment backdrop. you can swim or surf, walk from beach to beach or do the bushwalk climb to Sublime Point, which has glorious views of the area. There is a wonderful cycleway going from Austinmer to Wollongong which follows the coastline.The area has a great range of excellent cafes and restaurants. Austinmer has a wide variety of cultural, sporting and recreational facilities available close by, great shopping in nearby Thirroul, local weekend markets, as well as many scenic drives to explore the wider area.
