Great for large family groups
This was our second time at Villa Rose as it’s perfect for our big family group. The villa is large and roomy with excellent facilities and close to the village. The rooms have aircon and the private pool is a great size with ample sunbeds. The local property manager is really friendly and responsive if you have any issues. The only downside is that some of the furniture inside is a little tired and the hill upto the villa isn’t for the faint hearted! Having said that one of these things affected our stay and I would definitely go back.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location
Villa Rose is a stunning villa in a prime location. There were 4 families sharing the 9 rooms and we couldn’t have asked for more. The villa was clean and spacious with everything we needed to make us comfortable, and the pool area was perfect with a large pool, ample sunbeds and amazing views.
This was our 4th time staying in Uzumlu and villa Rose was well placed for access to the village, with a short walk to the nearest shops and restaurants. There was a bit of a hill to climb on the return journey so older members of the family got a lift back up.
The beach and main town with weekly market were only a short drive away.
All in all an amazing holiday was had by all - thank you!

Fantastic Family Holiday
The wonderful Villa Rose accommodated me and my family of 7. It was the perfect location for a relaxing break. The pool is a great feature of the villa, especially during the hot month of July.
I would highly recommend Villa Rose, there is enough space for a large family, comfortable beds, good communal spaces both in and outside as well as good facilities (bathrooms and kitchen).
The village nearby is filled with friendly, accommodating people and we felt very safe and at home there. The food is fresh, delicious and healthy. The Villa is also close to Fethiye and a couple of other spots to go visit whilst staying there.
Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful villa
A group of 10 of us including 2 small children stayed here and had an absolute blast!
The communication on how to get there and everything we needed to know beforehand was perfect! Thank you Laura.
The villa was in a lovely location - walking distance to some top notch restaurants but just far enough away from the main town to feel like a bit of a haven. It was so peaceful and the view was outstanding.
It was spotless when we arrived and had all the facilities you would need, including a BBQ. It also felt big enough that 10 of us didn’t feel on top of each other the whole time. Everyone loved relaxing by the pool and we spent hours playing water polo, swimming etc.
We were talking about when we would come back while we were still there! And we still are. We will definitely visit again. Thank you!

Summer 2016
This is one of the best villa's in Uzumlu for larger parties, we were a family of 10 adults (5 couples) and having been to the villa before thought we would be able to accomodate 5 couples, but 2 of the bedrooms have now been turned into single rooms, ideal if you have children though. We overcame this by making a bed up in the dining room as we never use this.
We did have problems with the airconditioning in one of the bedrooms, but I believe that a new system has now been installed, all the beds are extremely comfortable, the outside space is fantatic (the views across the valley outstanding, especially the sunsets), this has also one of the best pools, well stocked with crockery etc.
Keith is on hand to welcome you, the pool is cleaned every day. We will definately be going back.

Summer Holiday
We had stayed here a few years ago and were looking forward to returning, the villa did not disappoint, it is well stocked with crockery etc. The bed in the masterbedroom could do with a new mattress though & not a piece of wood that had been put underneath. Plenty of hotwater for showers. The location is stunning and just a few minutes walk into the village.
The villa could be improved by knocking through to the dining room and making a bigger kitchen, as when a few people are trying to prepare lunch it does not have a lot of space & a dishwasher would make it perfect.

Stunning Villa in a Fabulous Location
Villa Rose is situated in a quiet location halfway up a steep mountain overlooking the ancient medieval Uzumlu village - just a short walk from the centre that has shops, bars and some lovely restaurants. My husband even used one of the village barbers ('berber') during our stay and had the best wash, brush up and shave ever!
The villa itself is spotless, spacious and luxurious with everything that you could possibly want for a relaxing stay. There were nine of us staying, including my six-year-old grandson and there was plenty of room for us all.
The pool is cleaned and topped up daily - the friendly pool lady coming very early so you are not disturbed. There are a selection of pool toys and inflatables, plenty of chairs, two tables and a barbeque. The views from the pool terrace are stunning.
It is helpful to have a car if you want to explore the area although the 'dolmus' buses run regularly from the village centre down to the coastal areas and taxis are also available.
Overlooking the villa is Cadianda - an ancient ruined city that you can visit. You feel steeped in history here with old women of the village weaving on looms outside, herding goats and growing their own produce like chilies and grapes. There is a weekly local market. Everyone is very friendly.
A short hop away are the more modern towns such as Fethiye and Olu Deniz with all their various tourist attractions including paragliding and the hammam (both not to be missed) and access to boats and trips.
We all fell in love with sunny Turkey while staying in the beautiful Villa Rose and would definitely go back.

Amazing
An outstanding villa in a charming village, we were a party of 10, 5 of which was kids we all loved it, loads of space immaculate throughout well maintained large pool deeper than expected which was good almost 6ft deep end, English speaking guy met us to hand over keys and show us where everything was and was only 2mins away if needed, pool cleaned daily local restaurants where amazing especially wine garden and a funny little place called the secret garden, don't be put off where it is, food was amazing and very cheap, and he done morning deliverys of pasties filled with meat, feta or potatoes, highly recommended. We found a mini bus service which was very good value which took us on day excursions to Oludeniz etc for 150tl which was a bargain for 10 people return, card left in villa book, could not fault the holiday or villa. Would be back in a heartbeat. Aircon throughout and very well maintained, I checked lol as I'm a A/C engineer, sad I know lol.

About the neighborhood
Uzumlu is an unspoilt traditional Turkish village -- like stepping back in time. The hub of Uzumlu village is the village square, and dotted around the square you will find the local mosque, arts and crafts -where you can watch the locals weaving on their looms in cotton, silk and wool, a bakery, shops and a Friday market where you can buy local produce. Uzumlu is known for it’s fine grapes and the word means grapes, so why not taste the local wine, eat some Turkish cuisine at some of the restaurants or if you want a more informal environment why not try the local pide or have a bite to eat at the local Uzumlu cafe and bar.
Getting around
It is advised to have a car if you wish to travel to the main town or local beaches however most places are easily accessible by local bus and taxis are available from the main square. Mini Markets, cafes, bars and restaurants are all in a short walking distance. If you would require car hire we would be happy to assist you witn booking it.
