Interaction with guests
Either John or Bill are always on hand to help with any guest questions....John prepares the excellent breakfasts, while Bill tends the extensive gardens. Afternoon 'Happy Hour' is a joint effort, with John serving the delicious local wines and cheeses, while Bill usually joins the group to chat and talk about the local area.

These great people have fallen love with Tuscany, and Sant' Andrea in particular...they are always great fun, and have become part of our Italian family. We look forward to their visits.

About the neighborhood
The village has an excellent pizzeria, 'Tre Tigli' and a great pub, 'Jimmy's'
There is a small grocery store stocking all the essentials, with several larger supermarkets close by. March sees the 'Camillia Festival' with thousands of camillia plants blooming at their peak...visitors come from all over the world to see the show. Of course, the Town of Lucca is not to be missed..a short 20-minute drive away.
Getting around
A car is really a necessity...we are approx. 11 KM. from the walls of Lucca town, in a hidden valley in the Pisan Mountains. The village is nestled in a bowl-shaped valley with olive groves and vineyards. There is easy access to the village with 2 paved entrance roads....bus service, however, is only twice daily.
