When people ask us about our Italian vacation, I have to tell them our stay at Il Rifugio was the highlight. We stayed in Rome and Florence, but what we remember most fondly is our stay will Bill and John in the countryside. They were great hosts, always attentive and never intrusive. No detail was overlooked. We took over the...

Management response:

Our rewards come to us when great guests such as these appreciate our efforts...our guests many times arrive after a hectic week or two, seeing the wonderful sights Italy has to offer...they come to Il Rifugio ready for some quiet down time, a glass of wine, and a good night's sleep...or two! These folks were ready to relax....and it was...

What is not to love about a cozy home, outstanding hosts, a fresh breakfast, and beautiful scenery?! You will get all of that, plus more at Il Rifugio. My family and I stayed here recently, for a little over a week, and we would all highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an absolutely stand out holiday! First, lets...

Management response:

A Few times times, in this business, you meet exceptional people....and these folks are at the top of the list. We greatly enjoyed their company. It was a family reunion, with their son and daughter-in-law living in England, so the entire trip was devoted to talking, laughing, and catching up, for them. We are very happy we were a part...

Myself, my spouse, and two very dear friends rented a car at the airport and took off to find this place. Wow! If you want to experience really living in a small Italian village with all the comforts of home -- this is it, the best of all worlds. The hosts are magnificent in every respect of the word--they will...

Management response:

We welcomed these folks, who had always wanted to visit this part of Italy. It turned out to be a great experience for us all..they appreciated the help we gave them in finding the hidden gems we've found here in Tuscany, and we had a great time just visiting. We now have an even larger extended family, and will see...
