Great place to stay, have stayed previously and it’s very comfortable and quiet despite being just a few strides from the local pub - which is actually great.

Spotlessly clean, with everything you need for your stay. Ideally situated for beaches and coastal walks. The Rock Inn is great for meals, very friendly.

About the neighborhood
This area is called the Golden Coast due to its beautiful sandy beaches and UNESCO designated biosphere dunes at Braunton Burrows. Georgeham is a picturesque village where Henry Williamson lived and wrote Tarka the Otter. It is central to the surfing beaches at Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough and Woolacome, which was voted 2016 best UK beach (TripAdvisor). It is conveniently situated for tourist attractions such as the village of Clovelly, Lynton and Lynmouth, National Trust and RHS properties, The Big Sheep and the Milky Way. The National Cycle Route 27, which soon becomes the Tarka Trail, runs through the village and the South West Coastal Path passes close by.
