If you wish, there is little need to use your car once you arrive. The fishing ponds are here, as are footpaths and wildlife. There are three restaurants close by. However, there are also a wealth of local attractions to visit if you wish. The whole of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park is on your doorstep! The moors, the coastline, the market towns, the attractions and more! We offer full weeks and short breaks. Our Weekend Break is 3 nights from Friday and our Mid Week Break is 4 nights from Monday.More

We have stayed here 3 times staying again for Christmas the photo’s does not do this place justice, and only 10mins from home it’s perfect, owners are lovely and make you feel at home.

Excellent place with great location to explore Yorkshire moor. We stayed there for about 3 week while we were there with my husband’s work.

How to get there
By road From the South From the A1, take the A168 towards Thirsk which becomes the A19. Stay on this road for around 15-20 minutes and then take the A172 towards Stokesley. At the second roundabout turn towards Middlesbrough. Blackthorn Gate is ½ mile past the next roundabout on the right hand side. From the North From the A19, take the A174 Parkway towards Whitby. Around 5 miles along this road, turn off onto the A172 also signposted towards Whitby. Go straight over at two sets of traffic lights then, at the first roundabout, turn towards Stokesley. Go straight over the next roundabout and Blackthorn Gate is ½ mile further on the left hand side
