Welcome to our home
For the last 3 years we have been rebuilding our home in the middle of a Belizean jungle right on the Belize River. This very spacious home has an open concept kitchen / living room with a master bedroom an on-suite bathroom. Our home comes with hydro, AC, hot water shower, flush toilet and laundry facilities
Our home is located in the village of Scotland Halfmoon just outside of Bermudian Landing.
We look forward to sharing our home with you!

The space
Our home is almost 1000 square feet built off the ground and has a huge additional 1000 square foot spacious deck that wraps around the entire house.
The deck is an amazing place to view many many species of birds, lizards and our famous Black Howler Monkey’s.

About the neighborhood
We are somewhat isolated if you like you peace and quiet and privacy. We are about a 40 minute walk from the village of Scotland Halfmoon. We are completely surrounded by jungle and secondary growth forest on 3 sides. The fourth side of the farm is located along the Belize River. There is a small local variety store found in the village and a larger more stocked grocery store in the next village of Bermudian Landing.
Birds and monkey's are forever making their presence known. Our road is as good as anywhere in the country to see all varieties of wildlife.
Getting around
Renting a car is always away to get around the country. Depending on how much time your planning to stay in Belize and how much of the country you plan on visiting.
Personally, I find the bus system sufficient and part of the "experience" of Belize. There is always a bus going somewhere. Plus the bus system is cheap!

Flying into Belize
If you are new to Belize and are flying into Belize we recommend that you take advantage of our local taxi service. It is a $75 US charge to be picked up at the airport and brought out to the house. This service includes the opportunity to pick up food and groceries. You can also use this service for your return to the airport when your holiday adventure has ended (for another $75 US).
