Aran View Cottage is a really quiet and peaceful place, is located in the grounds of the Aran View Country House and has its own parking space. The house is spacious, being ideal for a big group or family.

Interaction with guests:Â The guests will have the house for themselves, but we live in the same site, so if everything is needed, we will be close by to help.
We rented this cottage as we had American visitors staying with us and wanted to show them some of the west coast of Ireland. There is no view of the Aran islands from this cottage, unless you strain your neck out of the velux window upstairs. The cottage is in the courtyard of Aranview County House. There was no directional sign outside to say where to go, we had to keep going into the main house to ask for information even though it is nothing to do with them, they were very helpful. It sleeps 9 but only has 7 chairs around the kitchen table. The kitchen layout is very badly done especially the island. Apart from these facts it did not spoil our stay in Doolin.

About the neighborhood
We are located 15 minutes driving to the Cliffs of Moher, which is one of the most visited places in Ireland.
If you like Irish Music there are 4 pubs in Doolin, from our place takes 2 minutes driving to the pubs in the first village and 4 minutes to the ones in the next village.
You can go to the Aran Islands by Doolin, the Pier is located 7 minutes driving from our place.
We are also close to Doolin Cave, only a minute driving.
Getting around
We recommend travelling by car as the buses would not pass often during the day.
If you are travelling by bus please check the time tables in Bus Eirean website as the buses are limited.
If you are planning to go to the pubs during the night, would be 12 minutes walking to the pubs in the first village, 15 to 20 minutes in the second one. There is also taxi services in Doolin that can be arranged.
