A luxury home in a traditional farmyard setting with attractive gardens front and back, including a small wooded area. Completed in July 2012, it is five minutes walk from the centre of Annalong village, seven miles from Newcastle with sea views and five mins from the Mourne mountains. A traditional house front leads to a modern double height space at rear. We like to think you will not find a better stocked house with everything the discerning traveller could want, including a washing machine, tumble dryer and yes, a hair dryer (you have been asking!). Parking for four cars. We know you'll like it! Available now for 2018 bookings..

About the neighborhood
This is one of the most scenically beautiful ares of Northern Ireland, if not the whole of the island. The famous Mourne Mountains are the big draw, but Annalong harbour (impossibly beautiful according to one recent review) and the Irish Sea are also must do's. One of Northern Ireland's premier seaside resorts, Newcastle, is seven miles to the north. A bus stop is directly outside the house for those who would prefer not to drive. NI's main fishing post, Kilkeel, is six miles to the south. The recent addition of the Greencastle Ferry across Carlingford Lough makes the Cooley Peninsula and the lovely village of Carlingford much more accessible. Annalong may be small but it packs a punch!
Getting around
Access to a car is preferable but not entirely necessary. A good bus service operates with bus stops, north and south, directly outside the front door of Church Gates.

We are around 500 metres out of the centre of Annalong village on the main road to Kilkeel and directly opposite Kilhorne Parish Church. The house is served by a good bus service with bus stops directly outside.
