It is very central and within reachable distance of all other local amenities also. This holiday home is perfect. The host was so welcoming and on hand for anything you need. The location is perfect. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, beach. The home itself has everything you would need and a swing set for the children which was a hit! The home is well maintained and spacious yet cosy. We are talking about returning already. Considering holidaying in our own country each year instead of abroad after our lovely stay here. Thank you

The White Strand Beach house was great. It was clean and everything we could ask for. It is close to the beach, parks for the kids, the town and bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend it. We did not get a chance to meet Anita, but she was very helpful and was able to provide us with the rental at the very last minute. I would go back there. Thanks Anita.

This was our second time staying at the White Strand Beach House Buncrana. Anita the owner was lovely, she took the time, had a fire burning on our arrival which added to the cosiness of the bungalow. The house was very clean and tidy each bedroom had plenty of storage space and the bedding was lovely and fresh! Anita lives just next door to the bungalow and was at hand if we needed anything! although she didn't make her presence visible which allowed us plenty of privacy. Parking was great and we were allowed to bring our Samoyed who loved sitting outside the house which was enclosed by a large gate for safety measures. The house was situated minutes from a few hotels, eating places and pubs which saved on taxi fares. The house was only minutes from the beach which was very clean and sandy. I would definitely book this accommodation again.

Stayed here recently with kids, house was spotless and had everything you need, was close to shop hotel and driftwood bar,5 min drive to town, and beach was close also, anita wa a lovely host and we will definitely be back

Stayed in the White Strand Beach House for 1 week whilst the Foyle Cup was taking place. Lovely clean house in an excellent location close to the Inishowen Hotel and a short walk to both Buncrana Town Centre and the beach. Would def stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location for exploring this lovely part of the country. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. The coal fire was brilliant for keeping it cosy.

Very comfortable beds and lovely bedding. Towels also provided. Lights in dining room and sitting room very dim and heating quite expensive. Welcome bottle of wine & mince pies were a nice touch. Good value for money.

Buncrana Town and nearby surrounding areas have so much to offer for travellers. The local scenic beauty is most definitely a huge attraction. Sandy beaches, numerous viewpoints from rolling hills, cliffs and mountains. An ideal way to enjoy the scenic beauty of this area is by taking the 'Inishowen 100' route plan by the local tourist industry which shows off Inishowens best features throughout a 100km journey. The nature of the local people is welcoming and warming. People here have a genuine and caring interest in other people and this is a most unique and pleasant experience for travellers from largely populated areas to sample. A relaxing holiday in the countryside is what you will get yet there are cities with large populations as nearby as 20 minutes drive. Buncrana town itself offers numerous attractions for a visitor:- Sandy beaches; Local fishing and angling centre; Fahan Marina; Kayaking; Walks and hiking route; Orienteering in Swan Park; Equestrian Centre; Historic monuments - O' Dohertys Keep, The Castle, Dunree Fort and An Grianan Aileach to name but a few; Summer Ferry crossing service between Buncrana Pier and Rathmullan Pier; Public Leisure Centre; Childrens Play Park on the shore green; Public Tennis Courts; 2 No Golf Courses - Buncrana Municipal (9 Hole) and North West Golf Course (18 Hole); 3 Hotels (one with Spa and Private Leisure Centre); Local Kids Indoor Play Centre (Wains World); One of Irelands oldest town cinemas...a true gem in our little town that us locals are very proud of; 4 Large Supermarkets - Aldi, Lidl, Supervalu and Eurospar; Many fantastic restaurants to suit various budgets; 15 bars (many with live music); 1 popular nightclub and 1 live band venue. Buncrana hosts an annual music festival (normally in July) and the nearby town of Clonmany plays host to a hugely popular country music festival every year which brings with it people from all corners of the world! The nearby village of Ballyliffin also plays host to the world renowed Ballyliffin Golf Course. Derry and Letterkenny both have multiplex cinemas and bowling alleys; Halfway Go Karting Centre, Burnfoot is close by for visitors with a need for speed ;) Buncrana is a superb location for people of all ages. It has something to offer for everyone and really is worth a visit...come and see for yourself ;)
