Other things to do where we are located are quad bike riding at Irish country quads, Inniskeen and clay pigeon shooting in Lough Egish. Local forest park, Dun a Ri, pitch and putt in Inniskeen, the Ice Dome and the Aura Leisure Centre Dundalk and this is to name but a few.

Lovely stay
3 adults and a teen stayed here with our small dog for two nights and we had a lovely stay. A car is essential as most places to visit are around 25 mins drive away but it is very worth it. Catherina left milk, juice, cookies, and cereal at the house for us too which was very a pleasant surprise

Clean, modern. quiet.
Great cottage, well equipped kitchen and very clean, corn flakes and milk in the fridge on arrival, excellent!! secure parking and very quiet, perfect to unwind. The only possible downside is poor mobile reception but that's a network issue, not the fault of the house!

Sehr schöne und großzügige Ferienwohnung
Die Ferienwohnung bietet einen sehr guten Ausgangspunkt um verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten in Irland (z.B. Newgrange, Dublin) und Nordirland (z.B. Belfast) anzusehen. Sie liegt auf dem Land, ist sehr sauber und hat alles an Einrichtung, was man sich vorstellen kann. Zwei schöne Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war sogar extra Milch und Saft im Kühlschrank. Nebenan ist eine kleine Firma, die durch eine Mauer abgetrennt ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic place
Excellent place to stay, host was very helpful and friendly. We enquired about a taxi to Dundalk, instead of giving us a number she came and picked us up and drove us in and wouldn’t accept any money. Definitely would recommend this place for a quiet getaway, the cottage is lovely, clean and tidy.

Pleasant, resourceful, helpful and hardworking owner Catheriona.
Unit is modern, very well equipped, clean, and comfortable with parking. Well located for daily excursions.
Our stay included 2 nights. Received very well prepared information about potential attractions.
Happy thoughts about owner as well as living experience.

Great stay at Pat and Kate’s
Fantastic stay at Pat and Kate’s over the month of December 2018. Clean, warm, well kept, cosy house for our stay at home in Ireland. Kate is a very pleasant lady and couldn’t do enough for us. Sincere thanks for all she done to make our stay comfortable, Christmas decorations and all. Provided a cot for our 1 year old boy too which was the icing on the cake. Located off the Carrickmacross Dundalk road, it was a convenient location for us. Couldn’t recommend the place enough and will definitely stay again when we return to Ireland. If you are traveling in Ireland definitely consider Pat and Kate’s
