A lovely apartment in a superb location, with great terrace views.
The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard, when you walk in you immediately think "oh this is nice". It has a very good kitchen and all the modern appliances you need for a home from home (though you will need a shaver adaptor as there isnt a shaving point). The beds are comfortable and, despite being so handy for the centre of Baltimore, it is very peaceful and quiet at night. There is a lovely terrace and lawn, accessed from the lounge french doors, with superb views of the harbour and church. There are tables on the terrace at which you can eat while drinking in the view, plus a bbq. The location is perfect, just 2 minutes walk from the harbour and the good restaurants and lively pubs around it. Baltimore itself is definately the best place to stay in the area because of the facilities, the views, the walk to the Beacon and the ferries and boats operating from the harbour. The apartment also has ample secure parking. All in all I doubt you could find a better place to stay in West Cork.

Fabulous apartment
Baltimore is a fabulous place to go, and Harbour View Apartments are a brilliant spot to stay whilst in this magical seaside resort. We had a ground floor apartment, very spacious indeed, two good size bedrooms, very clean and comfortable, bathroom very nice, and clear instructions upon arrival to get the heating up and running. The lounge/kitchen area were the gem - fantastic view across the harbour and islands, amazing, also real fire was great in the cooler evenings. Walking distance to the harbour for ferries and the local shops/pubs. Sarah and Barry, we had a lovely time, and hope to be back next year for longer. We had a wonderful stay (only minor issue was we couldn't pick up the Wifi, but we're having too much fun outdoors) Kevin & Jo Brady

Perfect!
My son and I had a wonderful stay last November. The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, with plenty of storage and everything you could need in the kitchen. The heating/hot water system worked well and we also got the real fire going with wood bought from the local shop, a few minutes walk away. Very cosy. It was great to look out onto the bay every morning.

Great location and value
Visited Ireland during Thanksgiving 2014. Had visited Baltimore in 2001 and was looking forward to returning. Found this place on Tripadvisor and could not have been more pleased. Sarah was fantastic from the beginning and always willing to help. Great set up with kitchen, living room and two bedrooms for 4 people. Washing facilities also make it a great stop during a road trip to get everything ready for the rest of the stay. Would definitely recommend and stay again. In winter not much open in Baltimore, so take a drive to Kenmare, or to Clonakilty. Stop in town of Leap, which has an awesome take away restaurant with some of the best food in Ireland (large tiger on front).

Fabulous appartment
Just back from spending a week in The Harbour View Appartments in Baltimore. We were in the upper appartment 4 which has great views of the old church, harbour and garden. You have everything you need for self catering in the appartment and a really nice double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and shower . The other bedroom has a single bed with bunk beds plus there's another bathroom with a shower over the bath so ideal for a family of 4 There was only the two of us so it felt very spacious. Lovely lounge area with comfortable sofas. Blessed with good weather we were able to avail of the table and chairs downstairs in the patio area again with great views over harbour. It's a few minutes walk to the "square" in Baltimore with good pubs and restaurants , if you like fish Casey's Hotel worth going to. Lots to do and see but also perfect for a chill out holiday. I wouldn't hesitate in staying at the harbour view appartments again and hope to be back again next year.. Sarah didn't see you before we left but thank you so much for a great appartment

kitchen equipped for a 5 star chef with amazing sea views
Our home away was a wee version of our home in Idaho. The kitchen had it all and if you weren't up for cooking a 5 minute walk brought you to the lovely village with amazing pizza. We found plenty to do both near, Cape Clear and Kinsale, to far, Dingle and Kenmar. The skibereen rowing club is nearby as well. It was hard to leave.

Great find!
We have just returned from a week here. The apartment is well equipped and clean and had everything we required. It has beautiful views over the harbour and is a 2 minute walk from local pubs and restaurants. Shame the weather wasn't great, but couldn't fault the apartment. We never got to meet Sarah the owner, but knew she would respond to e mails. Would recommend it here and would stay again.

Nice place!
We enjoyed our stay at Harbour View Apartments. The view and grounds were nice. The apartment was clean and we had what we needed. The only disappointment was that the BBQ wasn't available but wasn't a huge deal. I was surprised to hear much Gaelic spoken around town between locals, although everyone knew English. Just a few tips: the post office in Skibbereen does currency conversions with no commissions with much cheaper rates than the airport. Groceries can be had in Skibbereen at several places. There is a small grocer two blocks from the apartment but it's better for supplements than full-on shopping. We drove down from Cork. Being Americans, we rented a GPS device from the car rental company which was a help. There are a lot of rotary intersections in Ireland and easy to miss a turn! I would go back and I think the apartment gave me a better feel as to what it would be like to live there and not just be a tourist - a much more authentic feel. Sarah was very kind and checked on us during our visit. 5 stars!

Great location!
I have three requirements for a vacation rental in Ireland: 1) it has to have a water view; 2) it must be clean and well maintained; and 3) it must be walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Our Harbor View apartment met all three. Well located a block from the town square and ferry services, it made a great location for day trips around County Cork. The apartment was clean, well decorated and had everything we needed for our week in Ireland. Parking at our door was a bonus. I highly recommend Harbor View Apartments.
