We had a wonderful stay at Nestle Stones. The setting is beautiful remote with the most amazing views. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the place is immaculate. It feels some homely and we enjoyed spending our evenings relaxing enjoying the views and sharing meals prepared in a generous kitchen with a large dinning table. All the beds were comfortable and bedroom layout wells perfect for 2 families travelling together.
The local village Sneem has everything you need and some wonderful places to eat. Wendy’s place is a perfect place to explore everything Co Kerry has to offer and a very lovely place to return each evening. Wendy kept in touch with great communication on the run up to our trip and when we arrived. We had no issues during our trip but I have no doubt if anything had cropped up she was easy to get in contact with if needed.

Holiday in Sneem
We were 2 families of 11 (basically adults). The house was very well equipped and despite our numbers we felt we had loads of space. Our weather allowed us to spend a lot of time outdoors. The view across the bay is second to none and so remarkably peaceful. If you are wide awake after dark take time to see the night sky as it’s so incredibly clear. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Brilliant stay
Just back from a wonderful stay in this fantastic house. Had everything so I didn't need to pack the kitchen sink. Car definatly needed, sneem a few minutes drive away. We loved D O'Shea's and Rineys in the town. You would never get tired of those amazing views. There were tears leaving Tiny, who never left us when we there. Fabulous place definitely be back.

Exceptional Views, Fantastic House, Great Location
We had a great time at this Holiday rental, everything was perfect we even had a pet dog for the week called Tiny that came around every morning and evening from next door farm to play with the kids and was great fun. You are approx 10mins drive to Sneem Village and 30mins drive to beaches dotted all the way along the Atlantic Way. The location is excellent for privacy and hill walking or just general relaxation.
You will need transport to get to amenities with lots to do in the area for kids and families alike so if in large group you will need you car if going in split groups to different activities while there. Great place thanks to Reka next door who was our host and to Tiny the dog forever chasing that elusive stick. *****

Peaceful location with magnificent views
If it is a remote location in an area of outstanding natural countryside with outstanding views over Kenmare Bay this is the place to be. The house is spacious and well equipped, lending itself easily to large groups. Our party consisted of 8 adults and 4 young children and Nestle Stones provided a perfect experience and venue for our family gathering.

Perfect house
We stayed at Nestle Stones for 2 weeks in September. The house was excellent. Wendy, the owner, had made sure that the house was well equipped and we were amazed at the amount of necessities that were provided. More than enough towels and linens. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking in, no shortage of anything. Definitely one of the best equipped rental houses we have stayed in. The house was extremely clean and bright and well decorated and spacious with great views of Kenmare Bay all around from the expansive windows . The house sits in large well kept grounds in an idyllic setting overlooking the bay and Beara
Mountains. Very quiet and oh so peaceful just the sound of the cows grazing in the surrounding fields. All in all a superb house. Can't say enough about it.
Reka, the caretaker who was just next door, was very helpful and easy to contact when necessary and took care of us. Her dog, Tiny, adopted us and provided us with hours of amusement with his antics. He would accompany us on our walks down the lane. Great dog, we miss him!
Sneem is 15 to 20 mins away with some really nice pubs and eateries and a grocery store and the town offers some nice walks along the river. Kenmare is about 25 mins away with more selection of shops and pubs etc. And of course all of The Ring of Kerry is right there to be explored easily from the house.
I would definitely recommend Nestle Stones as a great place to stay.

The attractive village of Sneem is about 4 miles away, Sneem is a beautiful colourful town set at the head of the Sneem estuary between Kenmare and Waterville. Today Sneem is a peaceful and romantic little village offering visitors unspoilt nature, fishing, a sheltered harbour at Oyster Bed Pier and Parknasilla golf course. Horse riding, tennis, golf and deep sea fishing is all available. Fine sandy beaches at the white strand, Carrolls Cove and Derrynane are all near by and well worth a visit. Ideal location for touring or walking. Sneem offers visitors a varied selection of cafes restaurants and pubs. Warm and friendly welcome from Jenny at the Riverside cafe, fantastic food served at O'Shea and live traditional Irish music
