We had a wonderful stay and the cottage sealed the trip for us. The little stream at the back and all the homely touches made the stay that much better. Well equipped, clean with plenty of space ,comfortable and warm. Good location, The Red Fox...More

In fact the cottage was just off the busy main road but was not affected by noise. Well equipped, comfortable bed, however, the shower was poor. We could have done with instructions on how to use the heating, this would have saved us phoning Joan....More

Glenbeigh is perfectly located for exploring this majestic county. This beautiful cottage sits at the first point of the Ring of Kerry where you can see the sea. This coast line is part of the Wild Atlantic Way, the longest coastal drive in the world! And it is the Celtic folklore location of the Land of Eternal Youth know in Irish as Tir Na Nog.

How to get there
Airport: Kerry Airport: 22.4 mi
Follow the N70 from Killarney on the Ring of Kerry towards Killorglin. On leaving Killorglin continue along the N70 towards Glenbeigh. Careful not to loose your way with the breath taking scenery! Approx 10 minutes after Killorglin, on your right you will see The Kerry Bog Village & Museum which is a careful reconstruction of an Irish Famine Village complete with Irish Wolf hounds. Maybe stop off here for one of Mullvihills famous Irish Coffees. Then continue on the N70 until you reach a bridge with a one way system, (Dooks Golf links can be found if you take the road to the right) however you will continue over the bridge.
Just a minute over the bridge on the left you will see a primary school and on the right there are two detached houses, after these two houses there is a hedge...
