The L'Anse Aux Epines House and Sugar Mill Tower and its staff especially Ms. Lynn Fletcher and Ms. Cindy Mitchell were remarkable and most memorable. Our family reunion there has left us with wonderful memories of the beautiful setting we called home for a week. Chef Andre welcomed us into the kitchen to learn about Grenada specialties and presented us with a feast each night. The beach provided our family opportunities to kayak, snorkel, swim and explore the reef. There were so many places for the family to gather. Some of our young swimmers stayed in the lovely pool for hours at a time. Our daughter's Portuguese Water Dog was welcomed and appreciated all the attention he received from staff and family. We give the property and staff a five star rating.

Of all the many reasons you can pick to come to Grenada you can also add the Lance Aux Epines House to that list. I’ll use all the typical clichés to extoll this villas virtue, but they are not undeserved. Location. Just a short ride from the airport. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Sitting high on the water’s edge overlooking Prickly Bay the view framed by the MASSIVE infinity pool is hard to beat. Sailboats, sunsets, and beaches are all within eyeshot. Amenities. A/C in all the bedrooms. As much as people love to talk about island breezes, when we were there at the end of June I would have drowned in a pool of my own sweat if it weren’t for the bedroom air conditioning. Bedrooms had very comfortable beds. Showers had good water pressure. A pool table. I cook breakfast every morning and never needed something that wasn’t already in the kitchen. They even had SHARP knives. For anyone who’s ever rented a villa before you know what a rarity that is. The separate chest freezer was fantastic for keeping ice and chilling down the beers quickly. Great pool that’s good for everybody small and large. Kayaks and paddle-boards. A dock to hang out on. Although the walk up and down from the house is not for the weak. Very steep. Plenty of outside areas to sit or lay. Staff. One of my fears when renting a villa with a staff is that I will find them too intrusive. The group I traveled with are extremely low maintenance and we really don’t look to be catered to on a high level. Now I’m not saying that they wouldn’t have catered to us on a high level if we had asked, I’m just saying that they were perfect for what we were looking for. We couldn’t have been more pleased with everyone who worked there. They truly work hard to keep the villa in great shape. Rooms and common areas were cleaned daily. The pool and grounds were in great shape. If you had a question they were always happy to help. A person in our group was celebrating a birthday while we were there, and the staff surprised her with a wonderful personalized chocolate cake with candles. As regular visitors to Grenada, my Fiance and I are always on the look out for new accommodation and this year we hit the jackpot with this villa in our favourite area L’Anse aux Epines. The villa can be rented out in its entirety (which we hope to do in the future) or as we did this time, in the quiet season it offers B&B on a per room basis. For a reasonable price, you really feel like you really are “living the dream” - millionaires paradise with amazing views over Prickly Bay full of fantastic yachts and a prime spot for lovers of spectacular sunsets – photographers heaven or simply fabulous backdrop for sundowners before going out for dinner. The infinity pool was my favourite spot whilst my partner loved going down to the jetty and swimming/ snorkelling in the bay. We also enjoyed taking out the 2 man canoe around the bay and onto the nearby beach which has the no 1 rated lunch place in Grenada – Calabash Beach bar with fab chef Mark B! Mostly however breakfast was so good, we didn’t need lunch – wonderful fruit plates and yoghurt followed by a selection of cheeses, ham and boiled eggs with wholewheat English muffins and banana bread kept us going until dinner. We stayed in Cinnamon room, which was enormous, with a really comfortable bed and rolltop bath as well as shower. It was on the first floor and had 2 rocking chairs on the balcony outside the door where we enjoyed watching the stars and drinking tea when we got back from dinner. Cindy and the other staff keep the place beautifully, coming in daily from 7am and are keen to make sure everything works. As usual we rented a car, as although everywhere is reasonably close, Taxi’s in Grenada are always much more expensive than you would imagine. However if you are with a large group and are only going out for meals it’s worth using the minibus style cabs. Prickly Bay Marina is a short walk away and Friday nights there with an excellent live band are a must.

Beautiful view, amazing accommodations, friendly staff! We are a group of 6 couples who travel together. This villa was fantastic. It met all of our needs. We had an amazing view of the bay. The house manager and chef were above par! Cindy and Elli are so friendly and a lot of fun. We had an amazing stay and would go again in a second.

My new husband I were married here in December 2016. It is such an amazing place. We rented the entire property for our guests for the week and then had the most fairytale wedding one can imagine. We live in Alaska and it was super hard to come home from paradise in The middle of the winter, but we will absolutely be back. The house is so wonderful with the most friendly and accommodating staff I have ever met. The infinity pool was such a great place to spend our afternoons and evenings just hanging out with all of our friends and family. This place has the most amazing sunsets , as shown in Some of our wedding photos. This place is really special and there is nowhere else in the world I would prefer to have had my wedding.

My wife and I live in Grenada, and took advantage of my mother visiting to have her watch the kids and have an overnight getaway. We stayed at Lance Aux Epines house and could not imagine a more relaxing and romantic place to sneak away to in Grenada. The entire villa is immaculately maintained, and perfectly clean. Or room was spotless and far exceeded our expectations. After checking in and being shown the facilities, we went stand up paddling in the sheltered bay, then relaxed in the infinity pool to watch the sunset. The breakfast had many options, and a vast array of fresh fruits. This was not a typical bed and breakfast breakfast, but something you might expect from the buffet of a 5* hotel. The only problem with our stay is that it was too short, and we could only stay away from home for one night....I would highly recommend staying at the Waterfront Garden Villa to locals looking for a weekend escape as well as to visitors to the island. It is located close to several restaurants, and the facilities themselves are second to none. Best of all was our hostess Treva, who made us feel so very welcome, and had our every need in mind. This is undoubtably one of the very finest properties with one of the most spectacular views from any accomidation in Grenada.

Thoroughly enjoyed my one week stay in this beautiful property. Treva the a manger is extremely helpful and the property is immaculately kept. The location is perfect, ten minutes from the airport and downtown Gerogetown. So peaceful, definitely planning to return

Wir waren 2 Wochen hier mit zwei Familien und fünf Kindern. Das Anwesen ist fantastisch und der Pool der schönste, den wir je hatten. Elly unsere Köchin, Kindermädchen und Divemaster ist ein wahres Multitalent und hat wesentlich dazu beigetragen, dass wir einen traumhaften Urlaub hatten. Wir würden wieder kommen.

I was celebrating a special birthday and wanted somewhere that could accommodate a group of 5 couples. L'Anse aux Epines was the perfect location, and from the moment we arrived we were taken care of. The house manager Treva was always exceptionally helpful and all of the staff were a joy to have around. The view from the house is stunning and the pool is fabulous. The bedrooms are extremely spacious and the entire house was spotlessly clean throughout our stay. The chef created some exceptional meals for us and we were able to request whatever food we liked. I cannot recommend this house highly enough!

I stayed here with my family in 2013. The gardens and pool are wonderful; perfect to watch the sunset. The dog that comes with the house is gorgeous! (Josie I think her name is) The rooms are very big - although sadly my bath didn't work, and my shower only had cold water. Lots of areas of lounge in. Nice big kitchen (Although the chef at the time - Nina - wasn't the most accomplished of cooks) An amazing place for a family holiday.
