Lovely cottage in such a beautiful part of the country! Hosts went out of their way to make it a special Christmas stay, even putting up a tree for us and stockings for our children. Highly recommend this lovely holiday rental.

About the neighborhood
Mwendafye is approximately halfway between Axminster and Honiton. The surrounding countryside is particularly scenic and tranquil and there are many lovely local country walks. There is a public footpath from the farm which goes down to the historic pub in Dalwood – The Tucker's Arms; which was built in 13th century. It is a lovely walk in summer during the day. A map of different walks is provided. We also have some bicycles for hire, should you wish to go cycling (there are a number of cycle events run in the area) There are, however, a lot of hills! Please advise in advance if you would like to use them.Burrow Farm gardens is a few minutes away, and Royal Oak Farm which is just up the road offers cream teas and also has a farm shop.
