Pear Tree Farm is a purpose-built guesthouse with studio facility and is situated overlooking the stunning Lea Brook. We have nine bedrooms (four doubles, four twins and one family room). All rooms are en-suite with T.V and Video player, towels, hair-dryer and drinks tray provided. Two rooms are located on the ground floor and are suitable for wheelchair access. Our guest lounge has a lovely wood burning stove, large TV, Video and DVD player as well as a selection of books, videos and DVDs for guests’ enjoyment. Fantastic Accommodation and Alan & Sue great hosts! Spacious house with a large social area inside and a lovely fire pit with lots of chairs outside too

Spent Good Friday morning to Easter Monday afternoon at this fabulous property. We are a family of 13 adults,,5 children and 2 babies. Kitchen well equipped, we got on better with the gas hob than the induction hob but it was probably what we’re used...More

Family reunion (17 X PEOPLE) being a former guest house the accommodation was superb with all our needs catered for .The bedrooms were large and very clean and comfortable, combined with the fabulous location of the house we will definitely be returning next year.

How to get there
Nearest airport: East Midlands (1 hour drive) or Manchester (2 hours) By Train/Bus: Derby station change trains for Matlock; Chesterfield station and Bus to Matlock. Bus: Matlock-Alfreton 140 or 141 to Pear Tree Farm. By Road: M1 Junction 28; TL A38 towards Derby at Junction A610 TR for Ambergate; turn Right onto A6 to Cromford; at traffic lights TL, continue for 2 miles to Lea Bridge keeping the River Derwent on your right hand side. Turn Left at John Smedley's Woollen Mill and apx half a mile Pear Tree Farm is situated on the left hand side in Lea Valley.
