Internally the cottage has a large downstairs living room/ dining and newly installed kitchen area with full cooking facilities and dishwasher. Beamed ceilings to both downstairs and upstairs. A cosy log burner completes this characterful cottage, especially after the beautiful walks just outside your door.

My wife and I visited for the bank holiday weekend. The area is great for walking and mountain biking of which we did; a lot ! Janine & Michael couldn't have been more helpful and were very hospitable. Michael even lent me a hose to clean some very muddy boots & bikes! The views at the back of the cottage...

I was pleasantly surprised how spacious this one bedroom cottage was. It was extremely well equipped and as the owners lived on site I am sure they would have tried to supply anything else we needed. It was lovely to have a private seating area outside. I wish our stay had been longer but hopefully we will return.

Drive into Middleton by Youlgreave from the village of youlgreave. If you keep slightly left past the swings on your right, past the village church on your right. Up the hill 70 metres turn left where you see our sign. Follow the single track road which is 3/4 of a mile long, past the white bungalow and keep going down the hill (don't turn left towards the stone farmhouse) keep going where it opens up to a open field over the cattle grid and up the hill to lowfield farm
