Second stay at Seafield Park and once again it didn't disappoint me and my fellow travellers. The house as per was spotlessly clean with every facility to hand for a weeks stay . Geoff(the host) yet again bent over backwards and cleared space in the adjoining garage for our motorcycles in case of poor weather etc. With shops/pubs/restaurants and the promenade a 5 min walk away the house is in an ideal location and we will definitely be back again next yr...

Thank you Stuart for taking time to write your review, we appreciate it very much. It was great to see the four of you again. We are in the ideal location, both in the town and on the North Coast. Just arrive at Seafield Park by your transport of choice, park in the driveway or garage in your case. and if it’s walking, running or cycling you enjoy then I believe you won’t be disappointed. See you next time Stuart.

Just what we wanted!
Staying at Seafield Park once again was perfect for visiting family in Coleraine.
Previously I’d stayed at the property on my own for a “retreat” type of experience, but this time I brought the family. The accommodation fitted us all (my husband, and I along with our daughter, her husband and their two boys). The accommodation is clean, comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen had everything we needed and more.
We used the house as a base to go east and west along the coastline for separate days out. Being in walking distance to the coast and frequenting the various coffee shops in Port Stewart was great. Local supermarket and other takeaways nearby.
Geoff and Hilda are very welcoming and accommodating, and very efficient with communications. Would highly recommend their lovely home to all.

Thank you so much Fiona for your informative review. It was so lovely to have you back again for the third time, this time with your lovely family.
As you were saying Portstewart is a great place to stay allowing you to visit so many interesting and beautiful places in all directions.
So many of our guests from beyond the shores of Northern Ireland leave with wonderful memories of the sights, sounds, tastes, friendliness they have experienced from their visit to our wonderful coastline.
Thanks again for your high recommendation Fiona.

Celebration
We had a family celebration and needed extra accommodation to facilitate the family being together. Hilda a Geoff were really helpful and even left a card and gift. This was very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Great place to stay and so close to Portstewart promenade and coast walk. Highly recommend.

We were delighted to be able to host some of your lovely family and to hear you had a great time. We are in the perfect location to walk to both the Strand, our beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach and to our Promenade with interesting little shops with beautiful views across the bay to Mussenden Temple and County Donegal. Thank you for taking the time to write your review.

Our Favorite place to stay at the North Coast
Seafield park has been part of our summer holidays most years since 2012!! It is a great location for our family of 5. It is well equipped, clean and comfy. Geoff and Hilda are lovely to deal with and we have loved getting to know them more over the years! Other family members have stayed here too and everyone has loved the house especially the location near the promenade.
It really is a lovely house for a stay at the north coast. We Would highly recommend Seafield park. Looking forward to more summers spent here.

Thank you so much Sarah for your nth review. Ten years ago it was a delight to welcome this young couple with their first baby our youngest ever guest, just 2 months old. We look forward every year to seeing you and the children. How they have grown, we know the children love Seafield Park; so of course happy children - happy mum and dad.
As you say we are so convenient to the Promenade with lots of shops, eateries, small playground, little beach and more. Remember our Blue Flag beach, Portstewart Strand a beautiful beach with fine golden sand with sand dunes. Sheltering two 18 hole championship golf courses.
There is so much to see East, West and South, just ask Sarah’s Mum,Dad and in-laws!

Comfy home in a great location
Located a 10 minute walk from Portstewart promenade and all the great cafes and ice cream shops, a little off the main road. The property was quiet for a semi-detached - occasionally heard the neighbour but not at unsociable hours. Easy 20 min walk to a large Tesco and 5 min walk to a smaller Spar convenience store. The house was clean and tidy, with a comfortable bed and a nice living area for relaxing in (complete with blu-ray/hifi/smart tv etc). If I had find fault, the electric shower overhead the bath was a bit of a 'challenge' because of our height - but it wasn't a big deal and being tall is always an issue in rentals so unlikely to bother the majority. Our hosts geoff and hilda were very welcoming, meeting us on arrival to show us around the property and give us advice about the local area as well as things to do. Train ride from Coleraine to Londonderry was lovely. Lots of great recommendations for places to eat too. Top 3 were Cromore Halt, Amici and Ramore (in Portrush). Looking forward to a return visit.

Thank you very much Anne and Ken for taking the time to write your review, and to hear that you enjoyed what our home and our beautiful area had to offer. Yes it’s a nice little ride to Derry/Londonderry and of course an interesting place to visit. Tourism NI and Causeway Coast and Glen website give many more ideas for places to visit and within a very short drive. Of course you have to remember to walk or jog our lovely blue flag golden strand, you can start your jog from Seafield Park. Just up over the hill and you're at the coast. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Ideal location with everything you need for a great vacation
Myself and 3 other friends stayed for the week of the NW200 motorcycle races and on arrival found out that on arrival the host Geoff had made space in the garage for 4 motorcycles as the weather forecast was not great .That gesture immediately gave us a good feeling about the whole visit before it started and the accommodation didn't let us down either with the house being spacious, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything required for the week as well as being a 5 min walk to the main shops/prom area etc. Can't thank Geoff enough will definitely be back next year..

Thanks so much Stuart for taking the time to write your review and for your kind comments. I don’t know how you got dried out after your arrival, you caught some very heavy rain. Yes we are in a very convenient spot for the NW200, close enough to walk to the coarse but far enough away should any of your party wish for a quieter vacation. We’re pleased you caught a little sunshine and were able to get about and enjoy the area. An observation I have made over the past 10 years is that I never have any doubts about letting to bikers, I have found that the house is always left very clean and tidy and you four gentlemen were no exception. We are looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

The house was very clean and well equipped. The owners have been thoughtful about what to provide to make your stay relaxed and comfortable.
Would recommend!

Thank you very much Paul for your very positive review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. I was especially delighted when you told us that your two little girls enjoyed their visits to the sea off our magnificent Blue Flag beach with their bodyboards, hearts like lionesses. They certainly made sure nothing was going to stop them from enjoying their stay, despite the odd shower of rain! There is of course so much to see within such a short distance, walk or drive, public transport is also available. We’re glad you found our beds to your liking.
If there is something we could improve on just let us know. Looking forward to seeing you next time.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review Matthias.
It was a pleasure to have you and some of your lovely family, all the way from Berlin, to spend this extended period at 1 Seafield Park.
You told me you really enjoyed the wonderful scenery, fresh air, the food, the coffee, and the bracing walks around the coast and beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. We are very pleased you all had a wonderful time.

Portstewart has a population of about 8,000. Once a small fishing village it lies only 4 miles east of Portrush and only 4 miles north of Coleraine, Portstewart is well situated for an all-round holiday on Ireland's North Coast.
Portstewart's Victorian era promenade boasts an upper and lower walk, with spectacular views across the North Coast to the Inishowen Peninsula of Donegal. Stroll along Portstewart's National Trust protected Strand via the winding cliff path or watch the world go by from one of the famed ice-cream parlours, cafes, pubs or restaurants. Browse in the colourful art galleries, craft and gift shops, Flowerfield Arts Centre or enjoy an afternoon’s golf, tennis, bowls, swimming or surfing. Enjoy a walk to Portrush via the Port Path, a three-mile coastal walk complete with interpretive displays highlighting the natural history features to be observed.
Some of the many festivals are, International NW200 motorcycle races in May, International N.I. Milk Cup July, Keswick at Portstewart July, Red Sails Festival July, International Air Show September.
