We (my husband and I) decided no flights for us this year - I had seen the articles, read the reviews and decided No 1 Barn Lane would be a good place to book for our holiday at home. We were not disappointed! Oh my it was fantastic! The house is beautifully designed (the owners are architects) and furnished. There are 3 bedrooms - really would cater for more than two of us however this was our main holiday so we decided to spoil ourselves and we were not disappointed. Three bathrooms. Everything is provided for. We were there during the July 2021 heatwave and yes the house got extremely warm but everywhere was the same. The setting is stunning - lots of seating areas outside and beautiful gardens. Our little dog also enjoyed. And truly is location, location, location - Magilligan, Benone, Downhill, Mussenden, Benevenagh, Castlerock, Roe Valley all on your doorstep - I was amazed at all the beautiful places to visit so close to the house. There is a Tescos about 5 minutes drive away which we used regularly. We met Kim and her husband both so friendly - they should be proud of what they have achieved. I highly recommend - we did not want to leave - I genuinely could live there! We had the most amazing holiday in Northern Ireland - arrived home relaxed and happy. We hope to return some day!

I just feel that I have to write a review to let others know what a hidden gem and beautiful spot that 1 Barn Lane is . We booked both The Garden Rooms and 1 Barn Lane to host the wedding of our youngest daughter . We couldn’t have asked for a better place . Right from the first point of contact when we met husband and wife team Kim and Derek . They are very laid back and definitely go the extra mile in helping and providing all that you will need . The setting was ideal for these restricted number weddings and the gardens and beautiful arch which was the centre piece for the wedding vows was amazing . Everything was so relaxed and comfortable . Both accommodations are spacious bright and very practice . They are very well equipped with all the mod cons and are very cosy as the evenings close in with both having fine log burners and adequate supply of logs . These are both excellent properties for any sort of holiday, family gathering or wedding . You definitely won’t be disappointed . They are easy to find . Less than 3 miles off the main Limavady Coleraine Road and close to the town for any things or food that you have forgotten to bring . Try them out and see for yourself .

Bright, fresh airy and soothing space to be in. Didn't want to leave. Perfect place to stay to explore Northern Ireland or just be there while you're visiting family, like we were. I expected to just be using this place as somewhere to put our heads down but we ended up spending so much time chilling out as a family. Amazing view to wake up to. Quality furnishings, comfortable beds, very well equipped and great location makes this an inviting place to be and for us, to return to.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. Kim and Derek have created a beautiful space in a stunning part of the world. We were a group of five friends that travelled to Limavady and thoroughly enjoyed our time together at this wonderful property. I am hoping to go back with my family in the not-too-distant future.

We loved our stay here. Cottage is Beautiful and spacious, we would stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

Had wedding guests stay at this property... amazing property in a convenient location. Met by Kim & family who were welcoming & very helpful. The house is simply beautiful. Definitely recommend. Perfect.

We stopped at Barn Lane with our family and what a beautiful house, everything was perfect and the views were stunning, our grandchildren aged 8 and 10 had a wonderful time, lots of space to explore outside and in. We only wished we could have spent more than two weeks as the house is so homely and perfect for a family holiday, certainly we will be recommending this lovely home to our friends and we will be back. The house is so tastefully designed and decorated it is a credit to Derek and Kim who are so helpful and welcoming when you arrive. Highly recommended.

We loved this place! We stayed for a week with friends. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms- lovely atmosphere, big windows looking out onto farm land. Very well equipped and set out. No restaurants walking distance - but with the great kitchen, and a big Tesco close by, cooking was an easy option. The owners even dropped over a bike for our friend's son. It's 40 mins drive to Giants Causeway, 20 mins to the ferry to Inishowen, 30 mins to Londonderry - you definitely need a car for this property- but central to everything we wanted to see.

we stayed here for three nights after fancying a trip to Northern Ireland. The Barn is an absolute delight. It is well apportioned, spacious but homely and the decor is a mix of traditional and contemporary which works a treat. The bedrooms all have views over the countryside to Lough Foyle and the Donegal hills...just fantastic. We would stay again here in a heartbeat and hope to come back. The surrounding attractions, Bushmills, Giants Causeway, Carrick- a-Reade rope bridge etc are all within a short drive and the whole coast is a delight to see. Chapeau to Derek and Kim the architects, they have done a wonderful job.
