We are an educational-communal -agricultural farm, based in the heart of the Jezreel Valley, Habitat for people and vegetables.
Our goal is to create opportunities of success and empowerment for youth.
Youth, that has dropped out of the formal education system and are not enrolled in formal education.
The youth receive training in organic agriculture, earn a fair wage and are guided by a professional team that creates informal activities which provide an added social value.
This is the result of cooperation between 'Methoda - Social Education in the Community' Voluntary association, the Department of Social Services and the Education Department of the Gilboa Regional Council.

We are also a tourist and community center which provides field tours, depth workshops, professional lectures and more.
We rely on an existing model of sustainable farming based at Beit Zayit. 'Growing in the Valley' is the fifth in Israel to operate in this 'sustainable' model.
