The farm house is excellent. We were able to use as a base to visit family, that live in the nearby Portstewart, and ample space to enjoy days in as well. The enclosed, large back garden was fantastic for our dog and our 5 year old daughter who had the space to run and play. We are already looking forward...

Stayed here in September 2016 for a long weekend. The house is clean and very well equipped. Under floor heating makes it lovely and warm. The Hustons were very helpful throughout the booking process. The house has lovely views and is perfectly positioned between Portrush and Coleraine. As this remains our family holiday home, it is equipped to a very high standard. Your welcome pack includes local bread, milk, tea and coffee. Wood, coal and firelighters are provided for the fires. The fire in the lounge is a cast-iron multi-fuel stove. It gets very hot and really heats up the area well, and there is no risk of sparks flying out.<BR>In the cosy living room there is a small open fire which is best run just on a little coal. Let the parents have upstairs and the children have downstairs bedrooms / shower room and everyone has their own space.<BR>Pets welcome - there is even a cat-flap if puss is feeling adventurous! About the neighborhood
In the Huston family for almost 200 years the farm sits on 50 acres which guests can use for walks and exercising children or dogs. At the end of the lane is a bus-stop where you can take a bus to Coleraine or Portrush, and from there trains or buses to further afield.<BR>The farm is on the course of the famous North West 200 motorbike race (each May) and on the land is the chicane at Mathers Cross. Visit Coleraine for excellent shopping in independent stores, Benone Strand for beach activities, Portstewart for nightlife and people-watching along the Promenade.<BR>The Coleraine to Londonderry train trip was described by Michael Palin as one of the great railway jouneys of the World. Farm is on a main bus route 140 Coleraine to Portrush. Buses also go on to Portstewart. Route 140 Ulsterbus - see Translink website.
The bus stop is at the end of the lane - 250m downhill from Farmhouse. So 250m uphill when you come back!
