Excellent

We had this place for a week during our wedding. 2x5 person apts each with 2 × bedrooms and a 1 person put me up in the main room so good for 2 families to share if you want the privacy. Fantastic view over Souda Bay. Had a quiet party that easily accommodated 30. Fantastic BBQ area and small pool. Plenty of space for kids to run around if you have them. For 8 of us adults it was nice and quiet. Certainly one to book again if we go over as a family group.

Family holiday

This villa was perfect for our family holiday, we had a grandmother, toddler, teens and parents. The 2 apartment set up was perfect for us. The views were spectacular especially after sun set. The house is fully air conditioned which was vital in August. The outside area was a great communal living area after we spent most of our time. The pool was lovely with mood lighting on the evening. We were able to barricade the entrance to the pool for our toddler. The linen and towels were changed during our stay and Michalis was very prompt in replying to any text messages we sent. We couldn't operate the washing machine and he came straight away to show us how to use it. The kitchen has sufficient amenities for all of us and was spotless. Our host even did some shopping for us as we were arriving late. He also was kind enough to organise car hire during our stay. This for once was hassle free. There are 2 small shops within easy walking distance. These close at 9pm. My main highlight was the local village, there are several great restaurants with friendly staff, portions are large, food fantastic! These are a gentle stroll from the villa.The beach is within walking distance, but it's very warm and there aren't foot paths. A taxi up from Almyrida is €6. There are many restaurants there and lovely safe child friendly beaches. Sun loungers and umbrellas available to rent at reasonable rates. I would totally recommend this villa for 2 families or large groups. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Diane

Not far away from the Plaka village center just 300m where you can find caffee,tavernas and mini markets. Just 1000m from the villa is Almyrida where you can swimm to the big organised beach ,have lunch or dinner in one of the many tavernas,drink coffee or make some shoping !
