A quiet and peaceful family stay which we were looking for just before starting of the summer. The owners Ann & Michael lives in the house adjacent to the cottage and were so wonderful. You can’t ask for more polite and helpful owners. It was a memorable experience for us. Will be going back there again, to experience the summer. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved this place. We stayed at swallow cottage which was lovely and had the most stunning views. We took our grandchildren and they loved it. Ann and Michael go out of their way for you and Anne makes homemade jam and chutneys. We bought some to bring home. We had such a beautiful time we’ve booked again for Easter next year. We stayed here for a week Christmas 2018 it was a fantastic week we were given recommendations for beautiful days out ,Ann and Michael made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble they made the holiday !! The cottage was clean tidy and stunning views all around . We will definitely visit again , Thankyou for a memorable holiday !!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit we got snowed in which made it an extended visit by one night, that said, Michael and Ann were great, provided supplies to keep us going and most helpful in arrange our safe journey out of the valley the following day. Many thanks

Great location for visiting Powis Castle, Montgomery Castle. Also a a nearby garden centre where we purchased some lovely items. Swallow Cottage was first class for comfort. Useful aids about the help the less able. Oweners on site which was good to help with any problems. Not that we had any. Welcome pack was very thoughtful Car needed to visit local places of interest.

We rented Swallow and Blackbird bungalows for a weekend in August as our daughter was getting married nearby. The bungalows were outstanding, very well equipped and with fantastic views. The owners were really friendly and helpful. Can't praise this place enough.

Very nice cottage in beautiful surroundings. Sitting on the balcony was very relaxing. We had everything we needed and would stay here again. It was slightly tricky to find on the satnav, but the owner was very helpful in making sure we found it alright.

Nice and quiet location that is easy to find via my satnav - well it takes you to about 100m from the front door so just carry on down the road and hey presto you're there! The cottage itself is spacious and well appointed. we asked for the twin beds to be converted into the king sized bed which was so comfortable and well worth it. The double bed is fine but king size is luxury as it was just the two of us! There is plenty to see and do in the area within easy driving distance or if you'd prefer to just relax by sitting in the warm comfy cottage and take in the beautiful countryside and watch the birds on the feeders kindly put out by the owners. You can park right outside the door so its easy to unpack and plenty of storage space in the kitchen. Large supermarkets in the nearby town are useful for stocking up. Really enjoyed our stay and it was like a home from home. Thank you.

Swallow is probably the best self catering cottage we have ever stayed in ! It was extremely comfortable, immaculately clean and spacious. Furniture was of good quality and appeared almost new as did all of the equipment and there was everything that you could possibly need available. The owners, Ann and Michael gave us a warm welcome and there was a delicious gift of home made jam and pickles on our welcome tray. The decking veranda looked out over a spectacular view of the hillside and would be idyllic on summer mornings for breakfast or summer evenings for supper and wine, we certainly intend to come back again soon.
